One literary definition of the word EPIC is a

We reserve the right to repair or replace any product that constitutes a valid warranty claim at our

sole discretion. In the event that your particular case is no longer available, we reserve the right to

replace the product with a new product with comparable value and characteristics.

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear on the product and/or its components,

cosmetic wear or cleaning, nor does it cover the replacement of lost accessories, lost or stolen

bags and/or bag contents.

All warranty claims should kindly be presented at the place of purchase or the nearest authorized

EPIC dealer, accompanied by proof and date of purchase. If you do not have an EPIC dealer in

your area, please contact us at [email protected] for assistance. This warranty does not

infringe on your statutory consumer rights.

Products with this warranty are covered for a period of 5 or 7 years against defects in

materials and workmanship from the date of original purchase. If the shell of your case

should break for any reason, even due to third party (such as airlines) handling, we will

replace the case at no charge, anywhere in the world.

AIRSPEED® TWO WHEELSThis trolley is equipped with two high

quality easy rolling wheels. All of our

wheels are replaceable if worn out, and

are equipped with a rugged housing that

helps protect your trolley from curbsides

and other sources of impact.

CAVE™Cave may be the cleverest pocket you’ll

ever see. From the spacious outside

pocket you can reach into a special

built-in bag inside the case. Fill up the

bag and it expands inside the case, or

leave it empty, and it will hardly take

up any space at all. TSA COMBINATION LOCKWhen travelling to the United States, the Transportation Security Administration “TSA” screens

every passenger’s baggage before it is placed on an airplane. While technology allows us to

electronically screen bags, there are times when TSA needs to physically inspect a piece of

WHICH CABIN SIZE IS THE BEST FOR ME?Everyone is talking about it. It’s important. Figuring out the best size for your intended purpose can be a real nightmare, especially when you fly.

That’s why we always recommend that you check with your carrier for specific details, but also why we’ve created some simple concepts in

order to help you orient yourself in this jungle. Here below you will find the cabin size concepts that we use, and that you will find used

throughout this catalogue.

CABIN SIZEThe phrase describes any small size

trolley case which is generally intended

for airline cabin or onboard use. This

basic format most often requires that the

height of the case does not exceed

55cm, and that the sum of all dimensions

do not exceed 115cm when added

together. This format actually works for

many airlines, and almost always works

for train, boat and automobile travel.

SLIM MAX™ 4545cm: Just like the SlimMAX 55 described

above, SlimMAX 45 can be adjusted with

its SpaceBOOST™ expander easily, and at

will depending upon how and where

you’re travelling, and how much kit you

need onboard. The only difference is, that

the height and width are reduced to

45cm and 33cm respectively, making it

the perfect choice for even the most

restrictive charter trip. Of course, you can

even use SlimMAX™ 45 where larger

formats are allowed.

Check your weight!Besides size restrictions, most airlines

even have weight restrictions for ombord

luggage. Please check carefully with

your carrier for details.

SLIM™This is a format concept that we’ve

deve loped in order to meet the

restrictions for cabin size enforced by

many airlines today, especially low

cost carriers such as Ryan Air, Air

Berlin, Norwegian and more. The size

format we use for SL IM is 55cm

height, 20cm depth, and a width of

approximately 36cm.

SLIM MAX™ 5555cm: Bigger is often better. SlimMAX

gives you the maximum of cabin

allowable space in almost every situation.

With its SpaceBOOST™ expander closed,

it maxes out at a perfect 55x40x20cm

format. With its expander fully open it

goes up to a 23cm depth, which is the

maximum for most less restrictive

carriers such as SAS. In other words, EPIC

SlimMAX™ 55 is the perfect cabin size

almost anywhere you go.

WIZZARD™ 4242cm: A compact trolley specially

designed for people travelling with

different types of transportation.

A perfect companion when you travel by

bus, train, car or airplane. Can easily be

adjusted with i t s SpaceBOOST ™

expander. The size format we use for

WIZZARD is 42cm height, 25/28cm

depth, and a width of 32cm.

Avoid overstuffing! Please keep in mind that especially soft

sided cases can exceed the intended

measurement if overpacked. It’s up to

you how you pack, but please keep this

in mind in order to avoid any un-happy

surprises.

ULTRA SLIM™This is a further refined cabin size

concept that optimizes even the width of

the case and gives us the maximum

allowable dimensions of 55cm height,

40cm width, and, of course, 20cm depth.

This is a size format that we use for many

of our hard sided cases. We even make a

50cm high version of UltraSLIM in

DiscoveryAIR™ which is perfect for many

domestic flights that further restrict the

height of the case to 50cm.

After years of development, we’ve arrived at a very special recipe that gives us a shell that performs

way beyond its price level. EPIC TwinTECH is a unique composite of pure ABS and just the right

amount of pure polycarbonate in two layers of protection. The special TwinTECH luster enables us

to create some of the most beautiful colors we see for each and every season. This material also

utilizes our Diamond Surface outer layer, which makes the shell tougher, stronger, and more scratch

resistant. Lots of people love the metallic luster it adds as well! EPIC TwinTECH outer shell material

is used on POP [4X].

EPIC® TwinTECH™EPIC® HexaCORE™

EPIC HARD SHELL MATERIALS

ExoSphere is a totally new, and, once again, unique surface in luggage from EPIC. Just like it’s

surface-sibling, HexaCORE, ExoSphere is extremely scratch and scuff resistant while the dual-layer

design reduces weight and material usage, and acts as a strengthening, reinforcing outer shield.

The micro-surfacing technique that we’ve added to ExoSphere also gives it a matte, silky touch.

The discreetly striking design of ExoSphere truly enhances the sleek and modern shape of the

EPIC GTO 4.0 that premieres this new surface, and creates a unique package that combines

high-performance scratch and scuff resistance, added strength and durability, and harmony of

form. All EPIC ExoSphere cases are equipped with our awesome EPIC FullARMOR warranty.

EPIC ExoSphere outer shell material is used on GTO 4.0.

EPIC® ExoSPHERE™

How do you make a lightweight, very strong and beautiful high-performance case and still have

cash left for more fun at your destination? We say make it with EPIC DuraLITE shell material.

For our DuraLITE shells we use two layers of some the very best pure ABS material available coupled

with a pure polycarbonate outer film adding to its strength and impact resistance. These shells will

really take a beating, and do it with a big smile on their face. Beyond that, the DuraLITE sheen

makes colors and prints pop like little else we’ve seen! EPIC DuraLITE outer shell material is used

on Crate EX SolidCOLOR, Crate Reflex, and Crate EX WildLIFE.

EPIC® DuraLITE™

VTT™ is short for Variable Thickness Technology and is our unibody polypropylene shell and manu-

facturing process, and basically means that we can do, and have done a lot of special small things

with these shells in order to optimize strength and lightweightedness in a very tidy package.

We really love polypropylene for its strengd rich details we can create with it. Polypropylene used to

be a heavy, boring, but very stable material. With the help of some EPIC energy and our VTT process

it is now lightweight, dynamic, and still very stable. All EPIC VTT cases are also equipped with our

awesome EPIC FullARMOR warranty. EPIC VTT Unibody polypropylene outer shell material is used

on Phantom SL, PhantomBIO, Airwave VTT SL.

EPIC® VTT™ Unibody polypropylene EPIC® PET™

We love materials and are always in search for new, better, applications. PET is widely used in the

packaging industry for food containers and bottles but now, because of new technologies, this great

material can be used for luggage. The advantages with PET as shell material in luggage is not only

the beautiful, brilliant, look and low weight you can achieve but also, it’s environment advantages.

PET is 100% recyclable. We use PET on Stardust, a new member in the EPIC family.

EPIC® BaseTECH™

We want to offer a suitcase for everybody. Our main objective when we developed BaseTECH was

to find the perfect match between quality and best price. The ABS used in this material is carefully

chosen and processed by our engineers. We use ABS in a unique 2-layer process to ensure the right

quality and material properties. All this so we can offer good quality to a reasonable price.

EPIC BaseTECH™ outer shell material is used on Clip™, a new member in the EPIC family.

Used in such advanced, high-performance applications as bulletproof glass and jet-canopies,

polycarbonate is truly one of the world’s best materials for trolley cases with its extremely light–

weight and impact resistant qualities. We feel that our HexaCORE polycarbonate shells are some

of the best in world. This with the help of wonderful Bayer Makrolon raw materials, a strict manu-

facturing process, and our unique HexaCORE outer surface which acts as a strengthening shield

TRIFILON BioLITE™

BioLite is manufactured in Sweden by the Swedish materials innovation company, Trifilon. Trifilon

is a crazily dedicated group of engineers and production specialists that share the values of EPIC,

and have a burning love of creating materials which are performance superior and make less

impact on our environment. The material is industrial hemp enriched polypropylene. The result is

both lighter and stronger than traditional polypropylene due to the hemp fiber’s ability to reduce

density while engaging the polymers on a molecular level.

RAW PERFORMANCE, PURE FUNCTION

The new EPIC GTO 4.0 ExoSphere is a further refined, updated,

and expandable evolution of one of our all time favorites, the

classic GTO. Even though it’s gotten even bigger and roomier, we

still managed to make it even lighter.

We especially love the SpaceBOOST expander on this one. It’s

there on demand when and if you need it, and it’s absolutely great

for the extra stuff that we somehow manage to pick up along the

way. As we’ve made the expander out of such high quality and

robust materials, no stability goes lost despite the added volume.

EPIC GTO 4.0 is also equipped with EPIC’s true and strong

7 year Full Armor Warranty that even covers third party (read

airline!) damage to the shell during the warranty period.

The outer shell is still made from a very light and impact resistant

polymer called polycarbonate which is otherwise often used for

bullet-resistant glass, or even in such extreme applications as the

Phantom, as a unibody VTT design, is literally oozing with that

this special new BIO-version is what we feel is the best Phantom

we’ve ever made. The new PhantomBIO is borne of EPIC’s

ongoing mission to create and produce products that are more

This beautiful new material that we are so happy to introduce in

this context is called BioLITE. The Swedish materials innovation

company, Trifilon, manufactures BioLITE material in Sweden.

Trifilon is a crazily dedicated group of engineers and production

specialists that share the values of EPIC, and have a burning love of

creating materials which are performance superior and make less

impact on our environment. The BioLITE material used on

PhantomBIO is industrial hemp enriched. The resulting composite is

both lighter and stronger than traditional polypropylene due to the

hemp fiber’s ability to reduce density while engaging the polymers

on a molecular level.

Further, the unique Re:FRESH lining structure that PhantomBIO is

equipped with is removable, washable at 40° (and can be then be

frozen to eliminate any risk of critters after your trip to destinations

where critters may prevail), and is produced with a 55% organic

cotton / 45% hemp organic textile.

EPIC PhantomBIO is also equipped with EPIC’s true and strong 7

year Full Armor Warranty that even covers third party (read airline!)

damage to the shell during the warranty period.

Outer shell material: Trifilon Biolite natural fiber reinforced

freaks. Many of our team have some history in cycling, and we

A wallet is something that most of us use and carry with us every

single day. For that reason, it’s really important that it has the function

we need and feels good to use. That was the starting point when we

developed our range of FLOW wallets. We started out with soft and

supple, but longwearing Cow Napa Leather. This leather just feels

great to start with and, in our opinion, feels and looks better for every

day of use.

Our lining is also chosen with care. It’s design is inspired by carbon

fiber weave, and is very strong besides having a great, unique look.
