Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Safety (CBRN)

Survey and Monitoring team leader, job role included detection, analysis and mitigation of CBRN material in the UK and overseas operations including Iraq and Canada.

Risk assessments dealing with hazardous materials were paramount due to the extremely dangerous nature of the various substances dealt with on regular occasions.

Implementation, control and maintenance of CBRN PPE, detection and analysis equipment in accordance with safe systems of work and logging of maintenance carried out.

Managed a team of eight CBRN operators on various tasks, deployments and training exercises including live chemical and radiological sources, conducted in UK and abroad.
