SOPHOMORES
Bound Into Enthralline World Of Edsewater
"169r/-
llrs. II alden, sophomore class sponsor, busily reuiaus plans lor coming class project,
Sophomores entered a totally new andchallenging realm of ideas, experiencesand activities the moment they boundedinto the world of EHS. UnsuspectingBaby Eagles were swept up in the excite-ment of Homecoming, football and stateplayoffs, pledging, Boone week, dances, and senior high school studies.
Flapping their young wings with theEagle spirit they had quickly acquired, sophomores displayed unfailing loyaltyand true pride throughout tle year.Soon their downy feathers developed
into sleek Eagle plumage and sopho-mores were off and flying.
At the head of the flock flew MikeKelsey, class president; JiIl Swofford, class vice president; Dusty Sutton, sec.retary and Betsy Leedy, treasurer. Be-hind them followed the class of '71 oneof the best flocks to inhabit E.H.S.
Sophomore class officers, Mike Kelsey, lill Suoford, Dust! Suttotu, an(lBetsy Leedy lead, their class through a great year.
