We have decided that there will be no price increase this year in

FREEDOM’S DOOR
Freedom’s Door is seeking a volunteer Supervisor/Carpenter to
manage the renovation and expansion of 2 offices at Freedom’s
Door Recovery Home on Centennial Crescent in Kelowna. In
addition we need volunteer electricians, gyproc installers and

Christ the King Parish in Courtenay, B.C. is searching for a full
-time Pastoral Assistant. This individual will be a dynamic
communicator with strong organizational skills who will work
with children, youth and young adults and make a vital contri-

Reporting to the pastor, the individual will be positive and
energetic with an ability to work in hands-on situations as well
as to coordinate and work with volunteers.

Freedom’s Door relies heavily on donations from the commu-
nity to provide the necessities of life for our residents. We are a
registered charity and as such can issue tax-deductible receipts
for most donations. Below is a list of some of the items that we
are regularly in need of. If you are able to donate any of these
items please contact our Administration office to arrange pick
up or drop off of items.

skill that Freedom’s Door would normally have to pay for when
needing renovations or repairs to our facility (IE: plumbing,
electrical) and would like to donate your time, this would help
us by reducing labor costs for building upkeep. To volunteer or
obtain more information please call us and we would be happy
to arrange a tour of the building and discuss our needs.
