Why this somewhat “strange” questionnaire was sent around the World?

1. to put every Sister thinking/speaking/sharing about JPIC;

2. to have some ideia of what Sisters think;

3. to have something light and easy to provoque discussion.

CONCLUSIONS regarding the PROCESS:Same instructions sent; but, different understandings of the task to be done;

Materials reached every province and (supposedly) every community; but number of answers not matched number of provinces/communities;

Something might need to be improved in our communication and in our commitment regarding reflections proposed and sent by the CLT and/or organizers of Seminars, Chapters, etc.

CONCLUSIONS regarding the ANSWERS:

JPIC is about every Sister in the Congregation; JPIC is about helping to bring about systemic change for the good. JPIC has to do with our hospitals, schools and other institutions; JPIC is directly connected with our spirituality and prayer life;

Important to acknowledge: At least 30 Communities believe that JPIC is a speciallized ministry – and thus, not everybody would be called to it;

And there were 8 Provinces/Regions from which we have no ideia about what the Sisters there think…

HOWEVER…

IT’s because of all these concerns regarding our call to be persons of Justice and Peace

and Integrity of Creation…

That we are here! And…

The fruits will come… at the right time!
