Note: I am going to try and start to bulk out myepisodes (make them longer) to make them more

interesting to you, as the reader.

1x11 Fours Company(Libby Carlyle Centric)

Previously on LOST:

1) Claire, Luke and Michael being led somewhere by Sawyer,Howard and Tom.

2) Locke and Boone finding Claire, Luke and Michael in the jungle.

3) Walt going missing.4) Paulo finding Nikki dead.5) Nadia asking Hurley and Libby how they met.

Exterior. Beach. Dawn.

We see Locke and Boone leading Claire, Luke and Michael out of the jungle who are looking around, confused but slightly

interested in their new surroundings. The survivors all begin to

run forward, leaving Paulo with Nikkis body. Locke and Boonelead them further onto the beach. Claire begins to look scared at the people running towards them.

Jack:Oh my God! Where did you find them?!

Libby:Are they okay?

Hurley:Where have they been?

Locke:We found them out in the jungle. They dont seam to recognise

us...

Sayid:What?

Locke: They have no idea who we are.

Jack moves forward towards Claire, Luke and Michael.

Jack:Hello... Im Jack. Im a doctor. Im just going to need to examineyou briefly. How much do you guys remember?

None of them reply. He turns to Michael.

Jack:Did they have Walt with them? Did you see him?

Michael once again looks confused at Jack before saying:Michael:

Whos Walt?!

The camera pans round to show the survivors faces beforefading to black.

-LOST-Commercial Break.

Flashback. Interior. Santa Rose Mental Institution. Day.

The camera opens to show an activity room in the mentalinstitution. There are several patients in the room who are

drawing, playing games and talking. This is their recreationaltime. The camera follows a woman walking through the tablesbut we only see her from the neck down. The camera pans upto show her face as she stops in front of a table. The woman is

Libby! The camera pans down to the table and shows that Hurley is sat there! He is in the middle of eating some crackers

which are on the table.

Libby:Hey, you mind if I sit?

Hurley shakes his head and continues to eat. Libby sits downopposite him and smiles.

Hurley: Youre new here?

Libby:

Yeah. Im Libby.

Hurley:Hurley.

Libby holds out her hand and Hurley shakes it. She reachesdown and picks up one of the crackers of the table and begins

to eat it.

Libby:Its nice to meet you Hurley.

Libby finishes her cracker as the flashback sound is heard...

Exterior. Beach. Dawn.

We see Claire, Michael and Luke sat down on the beach with Jack, Kate and Charlie stood over them. The rest of the

survivors are gathered a little way down the beach watchingthem.

Jack:So you really dont remember anything?

Michael:Remember what? What are you talking about? Who are you

people? What are you doing with us? Where are we?

Kate turns to Jack.

Kate:Wow! Have a good time explaining that.

Charlie:We were on a plane... you were too! We survived it and wevebeen living here ever since. You were taken by several peoplewho were already here, on the island. Youve been missing for

almost two weeks!

Luke:No... that cant be. I remember getting on a plane. But I thought

we landed in LA?

Jack:Im afraid not. It crashed here. Weve been here for almost

three weeks.

Luke:But... how?

Jack:

I dont know how the plane crashed. I dont know anything.Were more concerned with surviving than getting answers.

Michael:So whos Walt?

Kate:Hes your son.

Michael:But I dont have a son. Do I?

Kate: Yeah, he survived the crash too.

Michael:So where is he now?

Jack:On the day we crashed several of us went to the cockpit to try

and find the radio from the plane. You came and so did Walt. Hewent missing.

Michael:Oh my God! So I... actually have a son?!

Kate simply nods as the camera cuts to show Hurley and Libby wandering along the beach.

Hurley:Wheres Boone gone?

Libby:

Hes disappeared into the jungle with Locke. Again. I think hesaid something about hunting boar.

Hurley:Oh, good. That other boar is nearly gone.

Libby: You sure love youre food, dont you?

Hurley:Not as much as I love you.

Libby smiles and kisses Hurley as the flashback sound isheard...

Interior. Restaurant. Day.

We see Hurley and Libby sat at a table in a posh restaurant

looking at menus. The camera pans along a little and we seeBoone and a blonde haired woman sat opposite them. Thewaiter appears and takes their orders before disappearing

again. They put their menus down.

Hurley:So when is the wedding?

Boone:17 th June. I cant wait.

Boone smiles and kisses the blonde woman.

Libby:I bet you cant. Its a nice opportunity to get a new dress, isnt it

Shannon?

Libby laughs as Hurley raises his glass.Hurley:

To Boone and Shannon.

The three others repeat Hurley and they chink their glassestogether.

Boone:Im glad you suggested this double date. Its fun.

Hurley:Well as the saying goes, fours company innit?

Libby:Umm... no. Its twos company.

Hurley:Oh well.

Hurley laughs and takes another drink. The waiter appears withtheir food as the camera fades to black.

Commercial Break.

Exterior. Beach. Day.

Jack is stood beside Kate and Charlie, talking quietly.

Jack:Ive checked them over. Theres nothing obvious wrong with

them.

Charlie:So why cant they remember us?

Jack:I have no idea. But theres nothing I can do. I cant get their

memories back.

Kate:Oh... so what happens now?

Jack:

We fill them in whats happened. And try to make sure they areaccommodated and understand everything. Theres not much

else we can do to be honest.

Jack sighs and looks over at Claire, Michael and Luke. Thecamera cuts to Charlie and Claire stood beside a tent.

Claire:So... were friends?

Charlie:Well we just met on the day of the crash. But yeah, I like to

think of us as friends.

Charlie grins at Claire who looks unsure at the tent.

Claire:And this is where I sleep?

Charlie:It is now. Im in the tent beside you, so if you need me you

know where to find me.

Charlie smiles as the camera cuts to Luke sat down on thebeach beside a campfire. He is looking around the camp

nervously. Hurley and Libby walk up to him and sit beside him.

Hurley:Hey, dude. Im Hurley. And this is Libby.

Libby:Do you remember us at all?

Luke shakes his head.

Luke:No, should I?

Hurley:Never mind dude. So how are you feeling?

Luke:

Alright. Just a little tired.

Libby:We can go if you like?

Luke:No, its ok.

Luke smiles at them before his eyes glaze over. We see severalflashes now:

1) Sawyer.2) Howard Tolland.

3) An unknown man laughing.4) A bed.5) A needle.

Lukes eyes roll into the back of his head and he slumps to theground. Hurley jumps to his feet and runs of to get Jack as the

camera focuses on Libby. The flashback sound is heard.

Flashback. Interior. Libbys Office. Day.

We see Libby sat behind a desk talking to a patient. Libby is aclinical psychologist.

Libby:So how do you feel now?

Patient:I still feel bad. He cheated on my 4 times! I mean we were

together for 15 years.

Libby: Yes, I understand. Its obvious you would still be feeling bad.

Libby checks her watch.

Libby: Thats the hour up, Im afraid. I feel as if we have made a bit

progress at least.

Patient: Yeah, I agree.

The woman gets up and leaves the office. Libby puts the

womans folder away in a filing cabinet and sighs. She picks upa newspaper which is on her desk and drops it into the waste paper bin. The camera follows it and we see an article on a plane crash (the one we saw in 1x02). The phone rings and

Libby answers it.

Libby:Hello?

Hurley:Hiya, love.

Libby:Hurley! What are you ringing me for?

Libby smiles as she glances at a photo of her and Hurley on her desk.

Hurley: Just wondering what time youre in?

Libby:Ill be in at about 4. I just need to finish something of.

Hurley:Alright then. Ill see you later.

Libby hangs up the phone as the flashback sound is heard...

Exterior. Jungle. Day.

We see Locke and Boone in digging out the hatch again. Aconsiderable amount is now exposed; the entire top of it.

Boone:So tell me, Mr. Locke. What did you do before we got here?

Locke:

I worked in a factory that made boxes. Boring, I know.

Boone:Boxes?

Locke: Yeah. What about you?

Boone:I was in PA at some big city office.

Locke:Very nice.

Boone: You got anyone waiting for you back home?

Locke:No, not anymore. Have you?

Boone:No, I havent. I split up from my wife a few months ago.

Locke: Youve been married?

Boone: Yeah, twice. Both failed.

Boone laughs as the camera cuts to:


Luke is now sat up, looking a little better. Hurley and Libby arestill there as well as Jack.

Jack:Hes going to be ok. Hes just a little dehydrated. And tired. I

think we should leave him to get some rest.

Hurley:Alright.

The group move away and Luke goes into his tent to get somerest. Hurley and Libby walk back to their tent as the flashback

sound is heard...

Flashback. Interior. Boones House. Day.

We see Libby and Boone inside Boones house drinking coffeeand talking.

Libby:So Shannon caught you then?

Boone:No, he told her.

Libby:And what did she say?

Boone:She wasnt bothered about me being bisexual. She was just

really pissed that Id cheated...

Libby:So thats it then? Its over?

Boone:I think so. She doesnt even want to try. It wasnt going well for

a while anyway.

Libby: You dont really seam bothered.

Boone: To be honest, I missed being single.

Boone laughs and drinks from his cup.

Libby:Well at least it lasted longer then youre last marriage.

Boone:

Yeah, I know. I saw her the other day. In town.

Libby:Oh? Did she see you?

Boone:No, I dont think so. Im glad anyway. I didnt really want to

speak with her.

Boone stands up and takes his cup to the sink as the camerafades to black.

Commercial Break.


We see a grave dug out in the sand with a body wrapped up indark cloth inside of it. Paulo is stood over the open grave,

silently crying. The funeral has already happened. Paulo takesa spade and begins to put the sand back into the hole, filling it up. He walks off silently down the beach. The camera pans to

Kate and Jack who are watching him.

Kate:Poor fellow!

Jack:I know. I wish there was something we could do. I bet its

horrible losing the only person you really know here.

Kate: Yeah... I guess we can only be here for him. Theres not much

else we can do.

The camera follows Paulo walking down the beach as thecamera cuts to Michael and Sayid sat on the beach talking

quietly.

Sayid: Youll soon feel comfortable here. Everyone seams friendly.

Were getting quite close now.

Michael: Yeah, the people Ive spoke to do seam to be nice.

Sayid:

So you cant remember anything of when you were missing?

Michael:No.

Sayid:How did you get away then? How did you get back here?

Michael:

I dont know. I wish I did, but I dont.Sayid:

Its ok. Dont worry. Listen, dinner will be ready in about anhour. Ill see you then.

Sayid stands up and smiles briefly at Michael before walking off down the beach. The camera cuts to:

Exterior. Jungle. Sunset. We see Locke and Boone making their way through the jungle

after their day of digging. Their hands are covered in mud which Locke now points out:

Locke:I think we need to wash our hands.

Locke and Boone stop walking and Locke takes out a bottle of water and an already dirty hanky. He pours some water onto

his hands before passing the bottle to Boone for him to do thesame. Locke begins to rub the mud from his hands. When he isfinished, he passes the cloth to Boone and continues walking. A

minute later, Boone catches up with him.

Boone:So when are we going to tell them?

Locke:

Tell who, what?

Boone: The others. About the hatch.

Locke:(Rolling his eyes)

Not this again! I said, wed tell them when Im ready to.

Boone:Why not when Im ready?

Locke:

Because its my hatch. I found it. I came up with the idea of digging.

Boone:No, you didnt! I did! Its not youre hatch. Nobody owns it.

Locke:Well like I said, well tell them when Im ready!

Locke is getting slightly angry and peed off now as his voice isbeginning to rise.

Boone:Well then, maybe you should continue with the hatch yourself!

Boone walks off away from Locke leaving him stood in themiddle of the hatch by himself. The camera fades to black.

Commercial Break.

Flashback. Interior Airport. Day.

We see Libby stood in an airport, seemingly waiting for someone. Her cell phone rings and she answers it.

Hurley:Hey babe. I miss you. When are you back?

Libby:

I dunno, a day or two. I just need to finish of some business,sorry.

Hurley:

Its ok. Ill see you in a few then. I love you.

Libby:I love you too.

Libby hangs up the phone and puts it in her pocket as we hear a man speaking off screen.

Man (O.S.):

Hello again, Elizabeth. Its nice to see you again.Libby:

You too, Mr. Shepherd.

Libby extends her arm out as the camera pans round to showwho the man is. Libby is shaking hands with Christian

Shepherd! Jacks father.

Christian:Come, let us sit.

Christian leads Libby to some seats outside of a cafe. They sit down.

Libby:So, what do I have to do?

Christian: Just meet with him. And make sure you get him there!

Christian takes an envelope out of his brief case and passes it to Libby.

Christian: Youre flight details, passport and plane tickets.

Libby glances into the envelope before sliding it into her pocket.

Christian:Call me when its done.

Without waiting for Libby to answer him, Christian stands up.He puts some sunglasses on and walks away. The camerafocuses on Libby as she watches Christian walk away as the

flashback sound is heard...

Exterior. Beach. Night.

We see Libby and Hurley sitting on the beach beside a campfirein the middle of eating their dinner.

Hurley:So what do you miss most from home?

Libby:Probably... my bed. And having a nice hot bath. And chocolate!

Libby laughs.

Libby:What about you?

Hurley: Yeah, my bed. I miss it so much.

Hurley and Libby both laugh this time.

Libby:I thought you were going to say the money!

Libby smiles at Hurley who grimaces. Hurley shakes his head.

Hurley:No, I dont miss the money at all.

The camera focuses on Hurleys face, looking slightly scared asthe camera fades to black.
