Business Solution
Power and Cooling represents utilization of utility services by each specific client. Clients are billed for actual utilization of power as measured at the circuit level for servers and devices assigned to them within GFS data center environments.
Technical Solution
• Power is monitored at the circuit level or branch circuit monitoring throughout the critical floor space. (BCM monitors power strips within each rack).
OLA/Metrics
The OLA for Secure Data Center is based on facility availability of 99.999%. The metric is based on the following definition of a facility outage: Any electrical or mechanical equipment failure in the data center, or loss of physical access to the data center, which results in the failure of a hosted server.•Electrical Supply Failure: The failure of electricity supplied to any dual power supply server, etc •Cooling Failure: The failure of mechanical and electrical systems used in the delivery of chilled water, air cooling, air handling.. •Physical Access Failure: The loss of physical access to the data center due to failures within the security system or due to events of force
