1. INTRODUCTION ABOUT DU RHÔNE CHOCOLATIER
Du Rhône Chocolatier is a privately held and run chocolate company based in Geneva since 1875. The Chocolaterie has a production facility as well as stores in the city center of Geneva, Riyadh Saudi Arabia, at Harrods in London and in Taipei Taiwan.
Our chocolaterie has also become a prized destination for famous people from all over the world. You too are sure to experience the same sensation as General de Gaulle, Grace Kelly, J.F. Kennedy, Maurice Chevalier, Colette, Dwight Eisenhower, Winston Churchill and many others.

PASSIONATE ABOUT CHOCOLATE FOR MORE THAN A CENTURY.
In 1875, Mr. Pertuiset opened his chocolaterie at 2, Rue du Rhône. A man of taste, he quickly forged a reputation for his establishment and soon the upper echelons of the belle époque were flocking to his door. This was the age of horse-drawn carriages, and gourmet horses were known to block the Rue du Rhône until they were given their praline.
In 1933, the flourishing chocolaterie passed into the hands of new experienced owners. Two decades later, some manuscripts of famous original recipes mysteriously disappeared. Since then, the precious documents have been kept in a secret safe.
By 1967, Du Rhône Chocolatier’s irresistible little treats had conquered the world. Meanwhile, in the laboratory, the master chocolatiers were driven more than ever to preserve their authenticity.
In 1976, the establishment moved to Rue de la Confédération.

MALAKOFF
A hazelnut praline made from an authentic tradi-tional recipe and bathed in a judicious measure of milk chocolate. A delight for chocolate lovers.
DIVIN
A blend of milk chocolate ganache with a dash of cocoa paste has given that divine result that inspired it’s name.
L’ALLIANCE
This chocolate is a success-ful blend of dark ganache, marzipan and ground pista-chios from Sicily. A strongly flavoured chocolate with a pleasant mouthfeel.
ROCHER NOIR
The simplicity of this choc-olate is equalled only by its success. We have blended ground roasted hazelnutswith dark chocolate present-ed in elegant small cups.
DÉLICAT
A light hazelnut feuillan-tine praline. Biting into this chocolate lets you in for a whole gamut of surprises: its flavour, its texture. It brings back “souvenirs” buried deep in our memory.
MIELITAS
Mountain honey Ganache mixed with ground roasted almonds. A must!
ROCHER LAIT
The simplicity of this choc-olate is matched only by its success. We have blended ground roasted hazel-nuts with a milk chocolate presented in elegant small cups.
MELBA
An hazelnut praline easy to recognise with its mantle of light with an exceptional fondant.
DU RHÔNE
Dark ganache with 63% cocoa. Wonderful initiation to bitter chocolate with character.
CITRUS
Dark lime flavoured ga-nache. The result of an har-monious balance between lime acidity and the delicacy of fresh cream, delightfully surprising mouthfeel coming from a complex elaboration.
JAFFA
Orange flavoured dark chocolate ganache. Finest Spain oranges pressed and melted with a delicate dark ganache.
RUBIS
The marriage of raspberry jelly and dark chocolate with a texture give a pure moment of “gourmandise”.
MAYA
Hazelnut praline withcocoa nibs. A harmonious blend combining the light sweetness of the praline with the intense flavour of cocoa nibs.
DÔME LAIT
A strongly flavoured chocolate with a pleasant mouthfeel.
ORANGETTE
Candied orange deep in dark chocolate. Candied orange peel cut in this slices with a dark chocolate with 63% of cocoa.
L’ORIENTAL
Dark ganache with 7 spices. This delicate blend of spe-cies will bring back to mind some marvelous memories of Christmas.
AVELINE NOIR
Dark chocolate praline with almond from Provence. An exceptional smoothness in mouth associated with delicate taste of almonds coming from Provence.
TULLIN
Walnut marzipan in dark chocolate decorated with a cernau nut.
BAKARA
Dark ganache infused with rose essential oil. Under a fine layer of dark choco-late, a subtle rose flavoured ganache is revealed.
CROQUETTE
A thin nougatine shell filled with a fine dark hazelnut praline, all enrobed in a darkchocolate with 63% cocoa.
DÔME NOIR
Dark chocolate mousse coated with chocolate. The perfect association between the bitterness of chocolate and the lightness of the mousse.
AVELINE LAIT Milk chocolate praline with almond from Provence. An exceptional smoothness in mouth associated with delicate taste of almonds coming from Provence.
IDA
Dark raspberry ganache. A blend dark ganache with 63% cocoa and raspberry pulp. Its slightly reddish col-our and its flavourful tastecome from the high percent-age of fruit.
CARTIER
A quarter slice of candied orange dipped in dark chocolate with 63% of cocoa. The perfect marriage between fruit and chocolate.
TONKA
Dark chocolate with 63% of cocoa coming from Ven-ezuela with Tonka beans coated with milk chocolate.
IMPERIAL
Dark ganache with 70% co-coa from bio beans sourced in the Dominican Republic infused with two teas, re-fined blends of Earl Grey and unsmoked China.
EXOTIQUE
Milk ganache flavouredwith passion fruit. A wonder-ful blend of the fruit and the milk chocolate.
PALET OR
Dark cocoa ganache with 61% of cocoa, smothered in dark chocolate and decorat-ed with flakes of gold.
PROVENCE
Dark lavender infusedganache. All the fragranc-es of the French Provence region associated with a delicate dark chocolate.
GINGEMBRE
A stick of ginger perfectly candied delicatly coated with dark chocolate.
MOUSSELINE
Vanilla marzipan flavoured with kirsch. The kirsch re-veals the intensity of the marzipan with vanilla taste in mouth.
HELENE
Salted marzipan associated with a thin caramel ganache coated with dark chocolate.
COLINE
Dark ganache with 70% cocoa beans from Brazil and Papua New Guinea. An intense chocolate that re-veals the flagrances of those foreign countries.
LE MARIE-GALANTE
Peanut and salted butter caramel. This chocolate is a combination of three flavours, an harmonious blend of salted butter, pea-nuts and milk chocolate.
MOCCA GLACÉ
Pavé de Genève. Our best kept secret from more than a century.
