As the instructor Amy said, it seems like it is becoming a lost art. It is such a neat and easy skill to learn and pass down to your children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. I think if 2020 has taught us anything, it might be to be a little more self-reliant for our needs and wants instead of counting on imported goods for our clothing, food, and other necessities. I wouldn’t be surprised in the least to see a lot more hand- made Christmas gifts given this year. If you would like to try your hand at Crochet, please join us Monday evenings at 6:00 P.M. at the senior center! This class is free and we have plenty of spare materials if you don’t have any of your own. We are still considering having a carry-in dinner on the 25 th since there will be no gathering at the VFW this year. Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in attending. If there is no interest, we may cancel with it being so close to Thanksgiving and everyone possibly having other plans.
