All programs run weekly from Monday to Friday and camp hours are 9:00am-4:00pm. Extended Hours are available with Early Drop-Off (8am) and Late Pick-Up (5:30pm) options. Additional charges apply.

All programs are co-ed, unless otherwise specified.

CAMP PERMIT Future Stars Summer Camps are permitted to operate by Suffolk County Department of Health. The Camp is inspected twice yearly and copies can be obtained by written request from Suffolk County Department of Health.

MEDICAL STAFF Camp Medical staff are EMT, First-Aid, and CPR/AED certified and are always on site during camp.

CAMP STAFF Camp staff is comprised of Coaches, Teachers, Instructors, and Student Athletes who share a passion for working with children.

CAMP PRICING Includes tuition only and varies based on program choice, date of registration, and number of weeks enrolled. Full breakdown is available online at fscamps.com and on the Application Form. Deposit payments are due to secure initial placement, and payment in full is due by April 1st. Enrollment after April 1st requires payment in full. No refunds will be issued after April 1st.

LUNCH Campers can bring a packed lunch from home or join our weekly lunch program for an additional charge. Campers eat daily in the air-conditioned cafeteria and have a choice of nutritious hot and cold meals and salads. A variety of beverages, fruits, and desserts complement each meal. CAMP DIRECTOR Chris Griffin is the site director for Future Stars Summer Camps at Farmingdale State College since 2010. He graduated from Quinnipiac University, where he played Division 1 lacrosse, was voted captain and earned NEILA Scholar Athlete honors. Chris has also worked as Asst. director of Farmingdale and Old Westbury sites.

For over 30 years, Future Stars Summer Camps have been providing families with outstanding Sports, STEAM and Specialty day camp programs. Our programs provide thousands of campers every year with a fun, safe and educational environment designed to enhance their skills and build their confidence.

OUR HISTORY Since 1980, and on campus at Farmingdale State College since 2008.

OUR CAMPERS From young beginners working on gross motor skills to high school students and athletes, we personalize our programs to challenge aspiring youth to reach another level in their development. Each camper is grouped by the program director into an age and level appropriate group that allows for swift advancement in skills, while also providing fitting social opportunities for the individual.

OUR STAFF We take great pride in our staff. All programs are overseen by directors who are qualified and experienced adult professionals in their field and are passionate about working with children. Assistant coaches, teachers, instructors and student athletes ensure an outstanding team of staff members for our campers.

OUR CURRICULA Each program implements an age and level appropriate curriculum with weekly programs and daily schedules. Character development is stressed, along with skill acquisition. The activities are scheduled to maximize the campers’ time learning and growing, while creating the most enjoyable experience and memories.

Future Stars specially designed Adventure program is modeled on the popular Adventure Education programs, and incorporates both on campus and off campus activities.

Our experienced staff of physical education teachers direct and oversee the program with additional expertise offered from the on-site staff at the various trip locations.

The program aims to create a fun and positive small group experience that fosters leadership skills and encourages the campers to challenge themselves.

Future Stars “Coaches & Teachers Assistant Program” (CTAP) combines the fun of being a participant with important life skills such as leadership, personal development, team-work, and communication, under the guidance of our experienced educators and directors.

The program is for teens entering grades 10-12 in the fall. Working under the guidance of our camp and program directors, CTAP participants will observe and assist in all aspects of the camp program and typical daily activities whilst receiving performance feedback in a constructive environment to help build self confidence and interpersonal skills.

The program will also encompass an online learning component throughout summer. CTAP Participants will receive a series of online video tutorials which cover topics such as leadership, good sportsmanship and other related themes. Reference letters must accompany the CTAP application.

Farmingdale State College is a sprawling 300 acre campus centrally located on the border of Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Conveniently located on Rt.110, minutes from the LIE (Rt.195) and Southern State Parkway. Farmingdale State College athletics department sponsors 18 NCAA DIII intercollegiate teams which participate in the Skyline Conference. Future Stars Summer Camps utilize the collegiate athletics facilities, as well as additional campus facilities for all programs.
