Locking And Unlocking The Doors

• Push the lock button once to lock all thedoors.

• Push the unlock button once to unlockboth the driver and passenger doors.

• To unlock the cargo area doors, push thecargo area door lock switch located on thedriver door trim panel.

PARKSENSE

PARKSENSE REAR PARK ASSISTIf an object is detected behind the rearbumper while the vehicle is in REVERSE, achime will sound. The chime rate will changedepending on the distance of the object fromthe rear bumper, getting faster as the objectapproaches. The chime will sound continu-ously when the distance between the vehicleand the detected object is less than12 inches (30 cm).

PARKVIEW REAR BACK UP CAMERAYou can see an on-screen image of the rearof your vehicle whenever the gear selector isput into REVERSE. The ParkView Rear BackUp Camera image appears on the displayscreen located on the center stack of theinstrument panel.

NOTE:If the display screen appears foggy, clean thecamera lens located on the top rear of thevehicle below the center light.

SEATS

SEAT FEATURESForward And Rearward Adjustment

The adjusting bar is at the front of the seat,near the floor. Pull the bar upward to movethe seat forward or rearward. Release the baronce the seat is in the desired position.Then, using body pressure, move forwardand rearward on the seat to be sure that theseat adjusters have latched.

Driver’s Seat

Lumbar Support — If Equipped

This feature allows you to increase ordecrease the amount of lumbar support. Thelumbar control knob is located on the rearupper outboard side of the driver's seatback.Rotate the control forward to increase andrearward to decrease the desired amount oflumbar support.

Height Adjustment (Without Swivel Seat) — IfEquipped

The height adjusting levers are located onthe center outboard side of the seat. Lift thefront lever with little or no weight applied tothe seat, to raise the front on the seat. Liftthe front lever with weight applied to the seatto lower it. Follow these instructions for therear lever to adjust the rear of the seat.

Height Adjustment (With Swivel Seat) — IfEquipped

The height adjusting knobs are located onthe center outboard side of the seat. Rotatethe front knob to adjust the front of the seatup or down. Rotate the rear knob to adjustthe rear of the seat up or down.

Recliner Adjustment

The recliner knob is on the rear outboard sideof the seat. To recline the seatback, leanback, rotate the knob rearward to positionthe seatback as desired. To return the seat-back to its normal upright position, leanforward, rotate the knob forward until theseatback is in the upright position.

Heated Seats — If Equipped

Heated Seat Switch

On some models, the front driver andpassenger seats may be equipped withheaters in both the seat cushions and seat-backs. The controls for the front heated seatsare located on the lower outboard side of theseat.

To Turn Heated Seats On/Off

1. Push the switch once to turn on theheated seats.

2. Push the switch a second time to shutthe heating elements off.

ADJUSTABLE ARMRESTS — IF EQUIPPED

Adjuster Wheel

The seat adjustable armrest can be raisedand adjusted for height. Underneath thefront of the armrest is the adjuster wheelwhich will adjust the height of the armrest upor down.

Turn the adjuster wheel to the right or left toadjust the height of the armrest up or down.

MIRRORS

POWER FOLDING MIRRORS — IF EQUIPPEDThe switch for the power folding mirrors islocated on the driver’s door panel below thepower mirror controls. The power fold mirrorsare designed to be folded and unfolded usingthe power folding switch.

Operation

• Push the switch to the right and themirrors will fold in.

• Push the switch to the left and the mirrorswill return to the normal driving position.

To Reset The Power Folding Mirror

1. Push the switch to the right and themirrors will fold in to the closed position.

2. Push the switch to the left and themirrors will return to the open position.

NOTE:The intended use of the power fold mirrors isby pushing the buttons to fold and unfold themirrors. Only manually fold the mirrors whennecessary.

Forward Folding

Mirrors can be folded forward manually or byaccidental impact. In this case, it is possibleto restore to position both ways, manuallyand electrically.

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DISPLAY CONTROLSThe instrument cluster display features adriver interactive display that is located inthe instrument cluster. Pushing the controlson the instrument panel on the left side ofthe steering column allows the driver toselect vehicle information and PersonalSettings.

NOTE:Some settings are not available when thevehicle is in motion.

Instrument Cluster Display Controls

• Push the up arrow button to scroll upwardthrough the main menus (Speed Beep,Buzzer Volume, Exit Menu) andsubmenus.

• Push the down arrow button to scrolldownward through the main menus andsubmenus.

• Push the MODE button for access to mainmenus, submenus or to select a personalsetting in the setup menu.

• Push and hold the MODE button for twoseconds to reset displayed/selectedfeatures that can be reset.

INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DIMMINGWith the headlights on, and without enteringinto the menu, push the up or down arrowbutton to increase or decrease the brightnessof the instrument panel, graphics, andcommand buttons.

NOTE:The instrument cluster display dimmerswitch can only be used to adjust the bright-ness when the headlights are turned on.

SPEED BEEPThis function makes it possible to set thevehicle speed limit (mph or km/h). When thislimit is exceeded the driver is immediatelyalerted.

To set the desired speed limit, proceed asfollows:

• Briefly press the MODE button: the displaywill show the wording (Speed Beep)

• Push button to select speed limit activa-tion (On) or deactivation (Off)

• If the function has been activated (On),push the up or down arrow buttons toselect the desired speed limit and thenpush MODE to confirm.

NOTE:Setting is possible between 20 and 120 mph(30 and 195 km/h), according to the previouslyset unit. The setting will increase/decrease by5 units each time the up or down arrow buttonis pushed. Hold down either up or down arrowbutton to automatically increase/decrease thesetting rapidly. Complete the adjustment withsingle push of the button when you approachthe desired value.

• Push the MODE button briefly to return to themenu screen or hold the button down to returnto the standard screen without storing.

To cancel the setting, proceed as follows:

• Briefly push the MODE button, (On) willflash on the display

• Push the down arrow button, (Off) willflash on the display

• Push the MODE button briefly to return tothe menu screen or hold the button downto return to the standard screen withoutstoring.

JACKING AND TIRE CHANGING

WINCH OPERATION Removing The Spare Tire

1. Remove the spare tire before attemptingto jack up the vehicle. Attach the lug boltadapter to the winch extension and insertit into the winch mechanism.

2. Rotate the wheel wrench handle counter-clockwise until the spare tire is on theground with enough cable slack to allowyou to pull it out from under the vehicle.

NOTE:The winch mechanism is designed for usewith the winch extension tube only. Use of anair wrench or other power tools is not recom-mended and can damage the winch.

3. Pull the spare tire out from under thevehicle to gain access to the spare tireretainer.

4. Lift the spare tire with one hand to giveclearance to tilt the retainer at the end ofthe cable.

JUMP STARTING

JUMP STARTING PROCEDURESThe vehicle’s jump starting remote posts arelocated under the hood, in the enginecompartment on the driver's side.

NOTE:If access to the battery is needed, an accesspanel on the driver’s side floor will allow forbattery access.

Remote Battery Posts

Connecting The Jumper Cables

1. Connect the positive (+) end of thejumper cable to the remote positive (+)post of the discharged vehicle.

NOTE:The remote positive (+) post is located in theengine compartment on the driver's sideunder the cover of the Front Power Distribu-tion Center.

2. Connect the opposite end of the positive(+) jumper cable to the positive (+) postof the booster battery.

3. Connect the negative end (-) of thejumper cable to the negative (-) post ofthe booster battery.

4. Connect the opposite end of the negative(-) jumper cable to the remote negative(-) post of the discharged vehicle.

NOTE:The remote negative (-) post is located in the frontof the engine compartment on the driver's side.

5. Start the engine in the vehicle that hasthe booster battery. Let the engine idle afew minutes and then start the engine inthe vehicle with the discharged battery.

6. Once the engine is started, disconnectthe jumper cables in the reversesequence:

Disconnecting The Jumper Cables

1. Disconnect the negative end (-) of thejumper cable from the remote negative(-) post of the vehicle with the dischargedbattery.

2. Disconnect the opposite end of the nega-tive (-) jumper cable from the negative (-)post of the booster battery.

3. Disconnect the positive end (+) of thejumper cable from the positive (+) post ofthe booster battery.

4. Disconnect the opposite end of the posi-tive (+) jumper cable from the remotepositive (+) post of the dischargedvehicle.

5. Close the cover of the Front Power Distri-bution Center.

NOTE:If frequent jump starting is required to startyour vehicle, you should have the battery andcharging system inspected at an authorizeddealer. Use the provided remote batteryposts provide to prevent any damage to yourvehicle.
