1.1everycompanyhasitsownvisualrepresentation.itsbrandandaunifiedvisualstylehelpthecompanytocreateitsvisualrepresentation.thevisualstyle(corporategraphicdesign)isanimportantmeansofcommunication,throughwhichthecompanycanactivelyshapeitsidentityandimage.ahighqualityandprofessionallydesignedgraphicstylecommunicatesthecompany’sbasicvalues,demonstratesitsintegrityandstabilityandenhancesitscredibilityexternallyandinternally.thebrandandvisualstylebelongtothekeytoolsforenhancingawarenessofthecompanyamongexpertsandthegeneralpublicalikeandareaproofofitsprofessionalismanduniqueness.itispreciselythisuniquenessofabrandandthecontinuoussystematicworkwithitthathelpmakeiteasiertoidentifythecompanyintoday’shighlycompetitiveenvironment.

2.6thedetaileddescriptiondefinestheshapeofthelogo,theplacementoftheindividualelements,theirshapes,sizes,andproportions.thedetaileddescriptionisanaidforcheckingifthelogoisappliedcorrectly.thedetaileddescriptionisnotintendedfortheconstructionofthelogo.thepreciseformofthelogoisdefinedinthedataforminthevectorcomputerformatssavedonacd-romwiththelogoadministrator.

The mutual proportions and size

of the individual elements are

defined by the units X and Y.

The unit Y defines the width of

the logos. The unit X defines both

logos’ distance and the distance of

the text from the logo. The unit Y is

identical to the height of the PPF

logo’s lower rectangle.

The company name is set in the

special corporate font, Generali

Logo Regular. This is a uniquely

modified font used exclusively to

construct the Generali group logos.

The text is in a grey colour (60%

black). The font size is precisely

defined by the foot of the PPF logo

and the height of the PPF letters.

The distance of the text from

the PPF logo is equal to the mutual

distance of the Generali and PPF

logos – the unit X.

As with the basic form of the logo,

the minimal logo size is also

defined for the logo with text.

To ensure that the logo is clearly

legible, it can be used at a minimal

size of up to 50%. A smaller size

would reduce its legibility greatly

and limit its graphic impact.
