In this notice, the term s "C om cast," "w e," "us," or "our" referto the operating com pany subsidiary or subsidiaries of C om cast

C orporation that (i) ow ns and /or operates the cable televisionsystem in your area pursuant to a cable television franch ise w iththe local franchising authority, or (ii) is operating in your area.The term "you" refers to you as a subscriber to on e or m ore ofour cable service and o ther services.

I. Collection

What kind of information does this notice apply to?

The C able Act applies to personally identifiable inform ation thatyou have furn ished to C om cast, or that Com cast has collectedusin g the cable system , in con nection w ith the provision of

cable service or other services. The Telecom m un ications A ctapplies to C PN I related to our reg ulated pho ne services, andcertain orders of the Federal C om m unications C om m issionapply the C PN I rules to our interconn ected voice over In ternetprotocol com m un ication s services. This notice applies to ourcable television service, our high- speed In ternet service, andour phone services as provided for by applicable law and except

as otherw ise n oted.

Special Note: This notice only covers information that iscollected by C om cast in conn ection w ith the provision of ourcable television service, our high- speed In ternet service, andour phone an d com m unications services to you as a subscriberto one or m ore of these services. It does not cover inform ationthat m ay be collected throug h an y other products, services, orw ebsites, even if accessed throug h ou r services and even ifco-branded w ith them . For what purposes may Comcast collect personallyidentifiable Information and CP N I?

The C able Act authorizes C om cast as a cable operator to usethe cable system to collect personally iden tifiable in form ationconcerning any subscriber for the follow ing purposes:

• to obtain inform ation necessary to render our cableservice or other services to our subscribers; and

• to detect un authorized reception of cablecommunications.

The C able Act prohibits us from using the cable system to collectpersonally identifiable inform ation concern ing any subscriberfor any purposes other than those listed above without thesubscriber's prior w ritten or electron ic consen t.

The Telecom m un ications Act authorizes us to use, disclose, orpermit access to individually identifiable C PNI in our provision of :

• the telecom m un ications services from w hich thisinform ation is derived; or

• services necessary to, or used in, the provision of theseservices, including the publishing of directories.

The Telecom m unications Act prohibits us from using C PN I forany purposes other than those listed above except as perm ittedor required by law or w ith your approval.

W hat kind of personally identif iab le inform ation and C P N Idoes C om cast collect?

C om cast collects inform ation from you at several differentpoints w hen you initiate and use our services. S om e of thisinform ation is personally identifiable inform ation, but m uch of itis not. W e collect certain personally identifiable inform ation -thatour subscribers furnish to us in con nection w ith the provisionof cab le service or other services. In order to p rovide reliable,

high q uality service to you , w e keep reg ular business recordscon taining inform ation about you that m ay constitute personallyidentifiable information. These records include some, buttypically not all, of the follow ing inform ation :

your nam e;service address;

billing address;e-m ail address;telephone num ber;driver's license n um ber;social security num ber;bank account num ber;

• credit card numb er; and• other similar accou nt information.

W ith respect to ph one services, exam ples of CP N I inclu deinformation typically available from telephone-related details on

you r monthly bill, such as:

location of service;technical configuration of service;type of service; qu antity of service;am ou nt of use of service; and

calling patterns

C P N I does not includ e you r nam e, address, and te lephonenu m ber, becau se the T elecom m u nications A ct classif ies thatinformation as "su bscriber list information" w hich is not su bjectto the protections applicable to CP NI. H ow ever, that information is

also subject to certain protections as described below u nder " Tow hom may Com cast disclose personally identifiable information?"

W e also collect and m aintain certain other inform ation ab ou tyou r account F or example, this information may include:

• billing, paym ent, and deposit history;

• additional service inform ation;• cu stom er correspondence and com m u nications records;• maintenance and com plaint information;• records indicating the nu m ber of television sets, set-top

boxes, m odem s, or telephon es connected to ou r cablesystem ; and

• additional information abou t the service options you havechosen.

su bseq u ent changes or u pdates to ou r services, C om cast m aycollect technical inform ation a b ou t you r televisions, any set-top boxes, com pu ter hardw are and softw are, cable mod em s,telephones, and/or other cab le or o ther service-related devices,and cu stomization settings and preferences. W hat kind of information do you collect if I u se Interactive ortransactional services or television view ing controls?

W hen you u se our in teractive or other transaction al servicessuch as video on demand, for example, our systems may

autom atically collect certain in form ation about your use of theseservices. M ost of this inform ation is not personally identifiableinform ation an d it is sim ply used, for exam ple, to carry out aparticular request you m ake using your rem ote control, set-topbox, or other equipm ent This m ay include inform ation requiredto chang e your television channel, review listing s in an electronicprogram guide, pause or fast forward through certain on dem and

program s, or in vok e a callin g feature for our phon e service,among other things. It may also include other informationsuch as the tim e you actually use our services an d the use ofother features of our services, and w hich m enus and m enuscreens are used m ost often an d the tim e spent using them .In o rder to carry out a particular request you m ak e to w atch

a pay-per-v iew prog ram or purchase a product , service, orfeature, for exam ple, our system m ay collect certain personallyidentifiable in form ation . This in form ation typically consists ofaccoun t and bill in g -related inform ation such as the pay-per-view program s or other products, services, or features orderedso that you m ay be properly billed for them . Follow your programg uide com m ands or an y special ins tructions on your videoscreen w hen y ou m ak e these transaction al requests . Th esecom m and s and instruction s w ill explain your choices so thatyou can com plete or cancel your requests as you w ish.

W hat kind of inform ation do you col lect and u se to im proveyou r cab le services and deliver relevant adv ertising?

O ur cable system s m ay collect anon ym ous and/or aggregateinformation using set-top boxes and other equipment. Weuse this inform ation to determ ine w hich program s are m ostpopular, how m any people w atch a program to its conclusion,and w hether people are w atching com m ercials, for exam ple.

As described below under "How does C om cast use personallyidentifiable inform ation and C PN I?", w e m ay provide subscriberlists or certain an onym ous and/or agg regate in form ation to thirdparties w orking on our behalf, such as audience m easurem entor m arket research firm s, for exam ple. These firm s m ay com binethis information with other aggregated or non-aggregateddem ographic inform ation (such as census records) to provide

us w ith audience analysis data, though w e w ill require them toremove personally identifiable inform ation about our subscribersfrom this data. W e use this inform ation to im prove our cabletelevision service and other services and m ake program m ing andadvertising m ore relevant to our subscribers. W e m ay also usethis inform ation to distribute and deliver relevan t prog ram m ing

and advertising to you w ithout disclosing personally identifiableinform ation about you to program m ers or advertisers. Thesenotices w ill describe the initiatives in g reater detail and m ay,

as appropriate, con tain in form ation you can use to choose toparticipate, or not participate, in these in itiatives.

II. U se

H ow does Com cast u se personal ly identif iable inform ation

and CPN I?iV e collect, maintain, and use personally identifiablef iform ation an d C PN I as perm itted by the C able Act and theTelecom m unications Act and other applicable law s. W e use thisinfo rm ation prim arily to con duct business activities related toproviding you w ith our cable service an d other services, and

' to help us detect theft of service. Gen erally speaking , w e usepersonally identifiable inform ation in con nection w ith:

billing and invoicing;administration;surveys;collection of fees and charges;

marketing;service delivery and customization;m aintenance an d operations;technical support;hardw are and softw are upg rades; andfraud prevention .

More specifically, we also use personally identifiable information to:

• install, configure, operate, provide, support, and m aintainour cable service and other services;

• con firm you are receiving the level(s) of service requestedand are properly billed;

• identify you w hen changes are m ade to your account orservices;

• m ake you aw are of new products or services that m ay beof in terest to you;

• understand the use of, and identify im provem ents to, ourservices;

• detect unauthorized reception , use, or abuse of ourservices;• determ ine w hether there are violations of an y applicable

policies and term s of service;• m anage the n etw ork supporting our services;

Comcast may disclose to others personally identifiableinform ation in con nection w ith features an d services such as

C aller ID , 911 /E91 1, an d directory services as follow s:• W e m ay transm it your nam e and/or telephone n um ber

to be displayed on a C aller ID device unless you haveelected to b lock such inform ation . Please note that CallerID blocking m ay not prevent the display of your nam e and/or telephon e num ber w hen you dial certain business or

em ergen cy num bers, 911, 900 num bers, or toll-free 800,888, 877 , 86 , or 855 num bers .

• W e m ay provide your nam e, address, and telephonenum ber to public safety authorities and their vendorsfor inclusion in E 91 1 databases and records, inclusionin "reverse 911" system s, or to troubleshoot 911 /E91 1

record errors.• W e m ay publish and distribute, or cause to be publishedand distributed, telephone directories in prin t, on theInternet, and on disks. Those telephon e directories m ayinclude subscriber nam es, addresses, and telephonenum bers, w ithout restriction to their use.

• W e m ay also m ake subscriber nam es, addresses, and

telephon e num bers available, or cause such subscriberinform ation to be m ade available, through directoryassistance operators.

• W e m ay provide subscribers' nam es, addresses, andtelephon e n um bers to unaffiliated directory publishersand d irectory assistance providers for their use in

creating directories and o ffering directory assistanceservices.• O nce our subscribers' nam es, addresses, and telephone

num bers appear in telephone d irectories or directoryassistance, they m ay be sorted, packag ed, repackag edand m ade available again in different form ats by anyon e.

W e tak e reason able precaution s to ensure that n on -pub lishedand unlisted numbers are not included in our telephonedirectories or directory assistance services, but we cannotguarantee that errors w ill never occur.

W hen is Com cast req u ired to disclose personally identifiable

information and CP N I by law ?

W e m ake every reasonab le effort to protect subscriber privacyas described in this notice. Nevertheless, w e m ay be required bylaw to disclose personally identifiable inform ation or individuallyidentifiable C PN I about a subscriber. These disclosures m ay

be m ade w ith or w ithout the subscriber 's consen t, and w ithor w ithout notice, in com pliance w ith the term s of valid legalprocess such as a subpoen a, court order, or search w arrant

For subscribers to ou r cable television service, the C able A ct

requires C om cast as a cable operator to disclose person allyidentifiable in form ation to a third-party or governm ental en tityin respon se to a co urt order. If the court order is soug ht bya non-governmental entity, we are required to notify thesubscriber of the cou rt order. If the co urt order is soug ht bya g overn m en tal entity, the C able Act requires that the cablesubscriber be afforded the oppo rtun ity to appear and con test

in a cou rt proceeding relevan t to the court order any claim smade in support of the court order. At the proceeding, theC able Act requires the govern m ental entity to offer clear andconvincing evidence that the subject of the information isreasonably suspected of eng ag ing in crim inal activity and thatthe inform ation soug ht w ould be m aterial evidence in the case.

For subscribers to our high -speed In ternet and phone services,the Cable Act requires Com cast to disclose personally identifiableinform ation an d individually iden tifiable C PN I to a private thirdparty in response to a court order, and w e are required to notifythe subscriber of the co urt order. The C able A ct requ ires usto disclose personally iden tifiable inform ation and ind ividually

identif iable C PN I about subscribers to hig h-speed Internetand phon e services to a g overnm ent entity in response to asubpoen a, court order, or search w arrant, for exam ple. W e areusually prohibited from notifying the subscriber of any disclosureof personally identifiable inform ation to a governm ent entity bythe term s of the subpoena, court order, or search w arrant.

How does Comcast protect personally identifiableinformation?

W e follow industry-standard practices to tak e such action s asare necessary to preven t un authorized access to personallyidentifiable in form ation by a person other than the subscriber

or us. H ow ever, w e cann ot guarantee that these practices w illpreven t every un authorized attem pt to access, use, or disclosepersonally identifiable information.

H ow long does C om cast m ainta in personally ident if iab leinformation?

C om cast m aintains personally identifiable inform ation aboutyou in our regular business records w hile you are a subscriberto o ur cable service or other services. W e also m aintain thisinformation for a period of time after you are no longer asubscriber if the in form ation is necessary for the purposes forw hich it w as collected or to satisfy legal requirem ents. These

purposes typically include business, legal, or tax purposes. Ifthese purposes no longer apply, w e w ill destroy the inform ationaccording to our internal policies and p rocedures.

Y ou m ay exam ine and correct, if necessary, the person allyidentifiable inform ation reg ardin g you that is collected an d.

m aintained by C om cast in our regular business records. In m ostcases, the personally iden tifiable inform ation con tained in theseirecords consists solely of billing and accoun t inform ation . W ew ill correct our records if you m ake a reasonable show ing that ;any of the personally identifiable inform ation w e have collectedabout you is inaccurate.

Y ou w ill only be

perm itted to exam ine records that contain personally identifiableinform ation abou t your account and no o ther account

If you m ake an affirm ative, w ritten request for a copy of yourC PN I, w e w ill disclose the relevant inform ation w e have to youat your account address of record, or to an y person authorizedby you, if w e reasonably believe the request is valid. How ever,

subscribers to ou r phon e services should be aw are that w egen erally do not provide them w ith records of any inboun d oroutbou n d calls or other records that w e don 't furnish in theordin ary course of business (for exam ple, as part of a b ill) orw hich are available only from our archives, w ithout valid legalprocess such as a co urt order. In ad dition , w e can no t correct

Th e T elecomm u nications A ct fu rther perm its C om cast to

u se, disclose, and perm it access to C P N I ob tained from ou rcu stomers, either directly or indirectly, to:

• initiate, render, b ill, and collect for telecomm u nicationsservices;

• protect ou r rights and property, and protect ou r usersof these services and other carriers from frau du lent,

abu sive, or unlaw fu l u se of, or su bscription to, theseservices;

• provide any inbou nd telemarketing, referral, oradm inistrative services to you for the du ration of the call,if you initiated the call and you approve of the u se of thisinform ation to provide these services; and

• to provide call location inform ation concerning the u ser ofa com m ercial m obile phone service.

W ith respect to phone services, unless w e obtain you r approvalIn accordance w ith ou r policies described b elow u nder "H owdo I give or w ithhold m y approval for Com cast to u se CP N I to

m arket additional products and services to m e?" , Com cast m aynot use CPN I to market produ cts and services to you other thanthe phon e services.

C om cast transm its, and m ay collect and store for a period oftim e, person ally iden tifiable and n on- person ally iden tifiableinformation abou t you w hen you u se ou r high-speed Internet

and phone services to:

• send and receive e-m ail, video m ail, and instant messages;• transfer and share files;• m ake files accessible;• visit w ebsites;• place or receive ca lls;• leave and receive voice m ail messages;• u se the applicable com mu nications center or voice center;• estab lish cu stom settings or preferences;• comm u nicate w ith u s for su pport; or• otherw ise u se the services and their featu res.

O u r transmission, collection, and storage of this information arenecessary to ren der the services. In certain situations, third-pa rty service prov iders m ay tran sm it, collect, and store thisinformation on ou r beha lf to provide featu res of our services.T hese third pa rties are not perm itted to u se you r personallyidentifiable information except for the pu rpose of providing these

Ill. D isclosu re

Under what circumstances may Comcast discloseperson ally iden tifiab le inform ation to others?

C om cast con siders the p erson ally ident if iable in form ationcontained in our business records to be confidential. The

C able Act authorizes C om cast as a cable operator to disclosepersonally identifiable inform ation concerning any subscriber ifthe disclosure is:

necessary to render, or conduct a legitim ate businessactivity related to, the cable service or other services

provided to the subscriber;required by law or legal process (described below under"W hen is C om cast required by law to disclose personallyidentifiable information and C PN I by law ?"); orof the nam es and addresses of subscribers for "m ailinglist" or other purposes (subject to each subscriber'sright to prohibit or lim it this disclosure and the C PN IPolicy described below under "How do I place m yself onC om cast's 'do n ot call ' and `do n ot m ail' lists?").

The C able Act prohibits us from disclosing personally identifiableinform ation con cerning any subscriber for any purposes otherthan those listed above w ithout the subscriber's prior w ritten or

electron ic consent.
