The shape of this kind of wood board

is ‘z’ shape, so the nail will be

screwed into under the ‘-‘, so that

when next board follows up the

other part of ‘z’ from the opposite

direction will cover the nailed part

up, hence the nails are hidden.

Steel lintel ‘Z’ shaped purlin is used for

construction rather than ‘c’ shaped,

as’ z ‘ shaped purlin can cross over by

connecting members from both sides.

However, ’c’ shaped purlin can only

have one side connection.

ROD BRACING

IS USED AS TENSION BRACE TO

REINFORCE THE ROOF, SO IT IS

MORE STABLE.

This kind of brickwork is done by pouring

grout into the hollow section and placing

the reinforcing steel bar into the hollow

section, finality, the whole brick wall will

be built up using cement to stick bricks

altogether.
