Program OverviewLeadership Lake Houston is a pres gious 9-month program designed to prepare, tool and enable par cipants to make an impact on the growth and vitality of the community. To accomplish this, the class will a end day sessions, once a month for eight months, to learn the current status and needs of various aspects of the community and will receive training for successfully serving on commi ees and boards. This partnership off ers opportuni es to sharpen leadership skills, develop knowledge, and focus on issues aff ec ng our community through monthly sessions. The eight day session topics include Quality of Life and Area History, Business and Economic Development, Government, Jus ce and Public Safety, Educa on, Healthcare, Social Services and Community Leadership. This special program includes an opening recep on, 2-day retreat and ropes course, eight day sessions (one day a month for eight months), and a gradua on ceremony.

Program OverviewChamber University is an innova ve, program designed to address cri cal topics and to help prepare par cipants to meet the ever-changing demands of the 21st century workplace. The program provides individualized growth and development opportuni es for entry level to execu ve leadership covering the en re gamut from “nuts & bolts” to “visionary thinking.” A ending a Chamber University Business Seminar is a tremendous resource for those who are either star ng up a business, looking to change direc on, or anybody who wants to learn how to be more successful. There will be a minimum of seven seminars/workshops held during the year. Approximately 30-40 individuals are expected to a end each seminar.
