What are PLUMBING FIXTURES?

• Plumbing Fixtures are approved-type installedreceptacles, devices or appliances supplied withwater or receive liquid or liquid-borne wastes and

discharge such wastes into the drainage systemto which they may directly or indirectlyconnected. Industrial or commercial tanks, vatsand similar processing equipment are not

plumbing fixtures

• Includes all potable water supply and distributionpipes, all plumbing fixtures and traps; all sanitaryand storm drainage systems; vent pipes, roofdrains, leaders and downspouts; and all building

drains and sewers, including their respective joints and connections; devices, receptacles, andappurtenances within the property; water lines inthe premises; potable, tap, hot and chilled waterpipings; potable water treating or usingequipment; fuel gas piping; water heaters andvents for same.
