展會成功落幕，成績令人振奮

CHINACOAT2014 (The 19th China International Exhibition for Coatings, Printing Inks and Adhesives) and SFCHINA2014 (The 27th China

International Exhibition for Surface Finishing & Coating Products) closed the gate on Dec 5 at the China Import and Export Fair Complex (Canton Fair Complex). The shows have once again successfully cemented its place as the World’s Coatings and Finishing Shows in the region, providing the definitive one-stop platform for industry players to gather annually. The scale of the show, the number of exhibitors and visitors all exceeded its past editions once again:

CHINACOAT2014: • Gross exhibition area over 56,000 sqm;

• 27,028 registered visitors, including 22,383 domestic and 4,645 overseas visitors;

• 41,179 visiting man trips, including 18,476 on Day 1, 17,052 on Day 2 and 5,651 on Day 3;

• 1,059 exhibitors from 29 countries/regions, including 231 new exhibitors;

• 13,916 representatives of exhibiting companies attended the show;

• 3,332 visitors attended 81 concurrent technical programmes.

SFCHINA2014: • Gross exhibition area over 14,000 sqm;

• 10,953 registered visitors, including 9,780 domestic and 1,173 overseas visitors;

• 12,950 visiting man trips, including 5,928 on Day 1, 5,516 on Day 2 and 1,506 on Day 3;

• 285 exhibitors from 17 countries/regions, including 72 new exhibitors;

• 2,896 representatives of exhibiting companies attended the show;

• 1,519 visitors attended 53 concurrent technical programmes.

「第十九屆中國國際塗料、油墨及粘合劑展覽會CHINACOAT2014」

及「第二十七屆中國國際表面處理、塗裝及塗料產品展覽會

SFCHINA2014」于本年12月5日在廣州中國進出口商品交易會展館（廣

交會展館）成功落幕，進一步確立其「全球行業大展」及「專業展會」

的地位。展會規模、展商及觀眾數目均再攀新高，為業界的發展搭建了

良好的平臺：

2014「中國國際塗料展」: · 展出毛面積超過56,000平方米；

· 登記出席觀眾達27,028人，包括22,383名中國境內及4,645名海外

觀眾；

· 入場人次達41,179，包括第一天18,476人次、第二天17,052人次及

第三天5,651人次；

· 1,059家參展商（來自29個國家/地區），當中231家首次參展；

· 13,916名展商代表出席展會；

· 3,332名與會者參與同期舉行81場技術交流活動。

2014「中國國際表面處理展」: · 展出毛面積超過14,000平方米；

· 登記出席觀眾達10,953人，包括9,780名中國境內及1,173名海外

觀眾；

· 入場人次達12,950，包括第一天5,928人次、第二天5,516人次及第

三天1,506人次；

· 285家參展商（來自17個國家/地區），當中72家首次參展；

· 2,896名展商代表出席展會；

· 1,519名與會者參與同期舉行53場技術交流活動。

高峰論壇延續專題研討會conclUDnG SYMPoSiUM

在展會第一天(即12月3日)，我們再次邀請汽車、交通、裝備製造等行

業的專家和高層技術管理人員就「環境友好型塗料應用」、「綠色

塗裝新技術及新工藝」和「機器人在塗裝工業的應用」等話題舉辦13場

專題研討會。

On Dec 3, 2014, experts were gathered again to deliver 13 seminars on “Environmentally Friendly Coating Applications”, “New Green Technologies”

and “Robot Applications” in the automotive and transportation equipment manufacturing industries.

「中國國際表面處理展(SFCHINA)」與中昊北方塗料工業研究設計院

合辦的「高峰論壇」於12月2日在廣州嘉逸皇冠酒店成功落幕。

活動上發表了22篇技術論文及公開論壇，介紹應用於汽車、交通、裝

備製造等行業的最新塗料塗裝技術及市場發展分析，彙聚超過150名塗

裝、塗料及相關產業的高層管理技術人員。

The Summit, organized by SFCHINA together with China Haohua North Paint & Coatings Industry Research and Design Institute,

successful ly ended on December 2, 2014 at Grand Royal Hotel , Guangzhou. The Summit included 22 presentations and panel discussions, prov id ing technology updates and market analys is of coat ings applications in automotive, transportation equipment manufacturing industries to 150+ senior management and technical personnel of related industries.

「第十二次學術會議」在12月2日于廣州香格里拉大酒店圓滿結束。來自

世界各地的塗料業界和學術界的專家、科研人員和企業代表，就“智

能、生態友好及功能性塗料助劑”的主題與約60名與會者進行廣泛且深入

的交流，分享助劑在增強塗料性能上的重要性。

會議上發表共10篇技術論文，包括2篇主題論文：由美國東密歇根大

學塗料研究所主任Jamil Baghdachi教授主講的「智能化及功能性助劑的

科學原理及技術」及德國畢克化學公司研發技術總監Guillaume Jaunky博

士主講的「現代添加劑技術—面向未來的觀點」。Baghdachi教授重點論

述智能和多功能性材料的科學原理和技術、現有製備途徑及產品實例，以

及闡述當今全球研發趨勢。Jaunky博士則綜述最先進的添加劑技術及其

在工業領域的應用實例，同時討論如何彌合理論與應用科學之間的差距。

從收回的問卷調 查 中反映，6 2%與 會者滿 意會 議 的 整 體安排，

76%認同通過會議可獲取前沿技術知識。

The 12th CHINACOAT Conference successfully ended on December 2, 2014 at Shangri-la Hotel Guangzhou. During this 2-day event, an impressive

array of speakers across the globe carried through on the theme “Smart, Eco-Friendly & Functional Coatings Additives”, provoking about 60 delegates to expand their understanding on the importance of these additives to enhance the performance of coatings.

A total of 10 technical papers were delivered, including 2 keynote papers, “Science & Technology of Smart and Functional Additives” presented by Professor Jamil Baghdachi of Coatings Research Institute, Eastern Michigan University, USA, and “Modern Additive Technology — a View into the Future” presented by Dr. Guillaume Jaunky, Technical Director Research & Development of BYK-Chemie, Germany. Professor Baghdachi discussed the current global R&D trends of smart and multifunctional materials, the present pathways and examples of such products; Dr. Jaunky updated the sophisticated additive technologies with examples of industrial applications, and talked about the future perspectives in bridging the gap between theory and applied science.

Our survey findings reflected that 62% of delegates satisfied with the overall arrangement, while 76% agreed that the Conference helped them to acquire the latest technological knowledge of the coatings industry.
