CAREER ADVISEMENT & GRADUATE SCHOOL PLANNING will assist students in thinking about their interests, determining which they would like to pursue, and how to connect their academic major to career planning. Students are able to meet with counselors one-on-one during Drop-In Hours, which are Monday-Friday 1:00-5:00pm and individual 45 minute appointments. Additionally, we hold weekly workshops discussing these and other topics surrounding career development. INTERNSHIPS allow students to gain hands-on experience while developing career-specific skills. We assist students in deciding when to do an internship, identifying potential employers, and developing on-the-job success strategies. NETWORKING is a key strategy behind successful job searches and career success. We assist students in building a network by exposing them to alumni and professionals in their field at career fairs, panels, workshops, and networking receptions.
