2011- present Director, Institutional Assessment, Office of the Provost.

Responsibilities: Lead the Office of Institutional Assessment; maintain the University of Florida’s SACSCOC accreditation and produce accurate, well-written reports for the institution (example: UF’s SACSCOC Compliance Certification); designed, implemented, and maintain an efficient and effective assessment system at a large, complex institution with 16 colleges, 10 vice presidents, 4 senior vice presidents, a graduate school and an extensive library system; established and lead the maintenance and refinement of institutional effectiveness and assessment processes; coordinate effectively with program faculty, colleges, vice presidential, and senior vice presidential units; lead the academic and institutional effectiveness planning and annual data reporting for 537 academic programs and 34 administrative units; lead the annual goal and student learning outcome data review for all academic programs and administrative units, provide feedback, and ensure high standards of academic and administrative effectiveness; develop policy or procedural modifications as needed to increase efficiency and effectiveness; remain on the leading edge of federal and state laws regarding higher education; maintain communication with appropriate constituencies regarding accreditation, assessment, and institutional effectiveness matters; chair the Academic Assessment Committee; liaise with the university’s General Education and Curriculum Committees.

2009-2011 Assistant Dean, Research, Technology, and Administrative Affairs (.50FTE). Responsibilities: Supervise and manage accreditation for the School of

Music, School of Theatre and Dance, and the School of Art and Art History; conduct program reviews and participate in strategic planning; and oversee the Center for Arts and Healthcare Research and Education (CAHRE), the Center for World Arts (CWA), and the Digital Worlds Institute (DWI). Oversee grants, research, and technology operations for the college and supervise/evaluate the Center directors, technology personnel, and the Executive Secretary. Manage facilities, and handle faculty grievances. Supervise and implement all faculty award programs, including sabbaticals. Serve on the College of Fine Arts Technology and Executive committees, and as the College of Fine Arts representative on the UF Exchange Advisory, UF-ITAC DATA, and UF Research Deans committees.

2007-2011 Developer and director, Summer Master’s Program in Music Education (MME) for

Teachers. This became the online MME program in 2012.
