Hospital Auxiliary as “Auxiliary

of the Year” for its volunteer

services to the health care

community.

Auxiliary received the award for

an auxiliary with between 101

and 300 licensed beds.

The Platte County Parks and Recreation

Department was honored by Harvard

University's Ash Center for Government

for the many partnerships it has created

to maintain a unique park system. The

trail system has increased by many

miles, and another leg of the Prairie

Creek Greenway Trail was completed

in 2015.

Director, was recognized for the

regional impact of the Platte County

Parks and Recreation Department over

the past 15 years.


• October 2015 marked 17

consecutive months of year

over year passenger growth

• Allegiant became KCI’s

3rd new carrier in 4 years

and began nonstop service

from KC to three previously

unserved Florida airports in

NOV15.

• KCI’s airline partners

launched a total of 7 new

nonstop routes in 2015.


Park University honored Ed Bradley with its

Torchlighter Award, which honors

individuals who have made significant,

long-standing contributions, and

commitments to Park University.

Ed Bradley brings more than 40 years of

experience to Park as a founding member

and chair of Park's School of Business

Advisory Council.


In the Spring of 2014, Northland

Career Center staff began an

extensive self-study evaluation to

earn the Council on Occupational

Education National Accreditation

status.

After an intensive review by a

visiting team of professional

educators representing the

Commission's member institutions

from other states, NCC has earned

the National Accreditation status.
