CALL FOR CHAPTERS Handbook of Research on Military, Aeronautical, and Maritime Logistics and Operations.” As part of Advances in Logistics, Operations, and Management Science (ALOMS) book series. A book edited by Alberto Ochoa, Gastón Cedillo, Jöns Sánchez and Lourdes Margain To be published by IGI Global: Objective Logistics is playing a vital role in delivering products and services, and driving research into finding ever better theoretical and technological solutions. The aim of this book is to collect innovative research work and original applications on the field of logistics research with focus on Military, Aeronautical, Maritime and Operations. This book will be a significant source of information that compiles interdisciplinary perspectives about diverse issues related to logistics from an inclusive range of methodological perspectives. It wants to focus on original contributions in the form of theoretical, experimental research and case studies applying new perspectives on logistics. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to the following: - Military logistics - Maritime logistics and port management operations - Aeronautical logistics - Supply chain engineering - Innovations in inventory management - Combinatorial optimization - Game theory applied to the supply chain - Fluidity in supply chains - Supply chain clustering - System dynamics modeling - Intermodal transportation network design - Quantitative models for managing multimodal logistics platforms - Reliability in freight transport systems - Supply chain simulation - Mobile applications
