Pastors Letter
Throughout my first two weeks here I have
repeatedly heard people say that they are happy
we are here. I can honestly say that words
cannot express how happy Lisa and I are happy
to be here. In fact, immediately following the
first luncheon at Pentecost, even before we left
the church Ethan turned to me and said “are we
coming back here next week.” There is no
greater affirmation of welcome, friendship, and
love than for a child to want to come back to
church. In the months and years that come
ahead, I am looking forward to meeting all of
you; learning about the wonderful things that
God is doing in your life. I also look forward to
worshipping with you, and serving alongside this
phenomenal staff that is already working so
diligently to serve the people of God in this
community. My door is always open, please feel
free to stop in and visit anytime.
Blessings,
Rev. Reuben E Lashley

Online Giving
Let’s face it – we don’t carry cash or a checkbook
around with us today, so now we’ve made giving
to Holy Trinity easy. There are three ways to
give, they’re all really easy!
Text Engagement
Grab your phone and test HTPC to 77977 and
you’ll receive a text back with instructions to
start giving. Be sure to type HTPC as one word,
and make sure your phone doesn’t auto correct.
Tap the link, and you’re ready to give!
Giving Link on our website
Simply go to our website, and go to the giving
page. This will take you to the secure giving link,
and allow you to make your donation. This
option is currently in the works and we will
notify you when that is up and ready for you
to use.
Pushpay App
Lastly, simply download the Pushpay App from
the Android Play or the Apple App Store. You
can text pushpay to 77977 and receive a link
back to download the app. From there, making a
contribution is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Open the app,
choose who to give to, enter the details and
you’re done, in only seconds!
Be sure to make our church a favorite by
selecting the star in the upper right corner of the
App to easily find it later!
ACH
We’re also excited to be able to offer you ACH
giving! This is huge because it allows you to give
directly from a bank account which allows more
of your donation to go into resourcing God’s
kingdom. Simply navigate to the giving page
using one of the methods described above, and
choose “Give from Bank Account.” Enter your
account and routing numbers and give! We will
let you know when this feature is available on
our website.
With Pushpay , you can
Give easily, quickly and securely
Store multiple cards and bank accounts
Give recurring donations
Login to www.Pushpay.com and see your
giving history
If you have any questions, please contact the
church office. We’re excited about this easy way
to give, and think you’ll love it too!

Congratulations to our Graduating
Seniors
On Sunday, May 24th, we recognized those young
people in our Holy Trinity family who were
graduating from high school this year. The
graduating seniors are Gilian Armstrong, Aaron
Mehaffey, Josh Kloster, Preston LeBlanc, and
Ethan Mueller. The character and quality of this
young lady and these young men should make
everyone proud. Please take a moment when
you see each of these young people to
congratulate them and wish them the best in
their future endeavors. It has been my distinct
pleasure to get to know these youth during their
formative high school years.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Do you know that prayer shawls can and are
given to friends and family outside of our
congregation! If you have a request for a shawl
or throw to be given please contact DiAnn
Arnold, 210-656-0540. We will be glad to
deliver or mail to recipient.
New members to the group are always
welcomed. No experience required. Yarn and
needles will be furnished with instruction on
how to use them.
The shawls on the pews in the sanctuary are
made from yarn that James and Lynn Miksch
donated to the Prayer Shawl Ministry. We are
thankful that through the Prayer Shawls her love
for HTPC continues.
Fellowship Committee
The Fellowship Committee invites you to join
our Divine Diners with the kick-off on July 12th at
Buddy and Linda Clark’s. They will host the first
gathering at their home after both services. Sign-
up sheets will be up on the fellowship bulletin
board. Deadline for signing up is July 5th. This is
a fun-filled way to have the opportunity to get to
know each other better. Sign up soon!

The Book Divas, the women’s book discussion
group, will meet on June 4, 2015 at 7:00 pm in
the Geneva Room at church. The book for
discussion is “The Dalai Lama’s Cat” by David
Michie. Bring a snack for six people. Beverages
and paper goods will be provided.

2015 at 7:00 pm in the Geneva Room. We will be

Thank You
To all my Holy Trinity Family,
Thank you all for the thoughtful cards, calls, food and
visits. You have been so encouraging and have surely
kept my spirits up. I’m looking forward to getting
back into action very soon. Special thanks to my
husband, Len, who has cared for me so tirelessly and
so well.

*****
I wish to express my deep gratitude for all the cards,
for the food, for the wonderful support you all gave
me during the time of Ralph’s passing. The
celebration of his life was marvelous, the men’s trio
was one of his favorites, and the party in the family
room later was one Ralph would have thoroughly
enjoyed. He loved this church, as I do, also. So thank
you all for guiding me through the valley.
