2016 ARLINGTON BASKETBALL CAMP SCHEDULE
Session 1 is for boys entering grades 4th -‐ 6th. This camp will focus on the fundamentals of passing, shooting, and ball handling. This camp will also consist of daily contests and team competition.
Session 2 is for boys entering grades 7th -‐ 9th. This camp will focus on passing, shooting, ball handling and offensive moves. This camp will also consist of 5 on 5, 4 on 4, and other competitions.
CAMP INSTRUCTORS
Coach Don Deaton just concluded his _ifth season as the Varsity head coach at AHS. This was another spectacular season that saw the Tigers win over 20 games. Coach Deaton is determined to continue this championship tradition. “Discipline, great work ethic and a positive attitude are qualities that de_ine Arlington Basketball. We expect our players to show these qualities both on and off the court.”
All sessions will be held on the Arlington High School campus in the Main gym and the P.E. gym.
CAMP FEATURES:
Individual Instruction of fundamentals.
Daily contests
4 on 4 and 5 on 5 league competition.
Each camper will receive a free camp t-shirt.
WHAT TO WEAR:Each camper should wear an appropriate out_it: shorts, T-‐shirt, socks, and basketball shoes.
WHAT TO BRING:Session 1: campers should bring snacks or money. Concessions and drinks will be sold during breaks.
Session 2: campers should bring a bag lunch and a drink. At lunch, pizza will be served for those who are interested at a cost of $2 per slice. Concessions and drinks will be sold during breaks as well.
CAMP BANK:There will be a bank available for campers to deposit money. Money can be used to purchase concessions. Pizza will be available for purchase during session 2 only.
CAMP LOCATION:
Cancellations/Refunds Campers that leave during the week because of illness or injury will receive a pro-‐rated refund. No refunds will be given to campers that leave voluntarily or for disciplinary reasons.
Early Registration is preferred, but registration will also be available the _irst day of each session beginning at 8:30 am.
