are offering a 12 Month traineeship for 2015 Year 12
leavers. It’s designed for school leavers who’d like to have
a gap year with purpose, and who feel they are called to
ministry and would like to receive some formal training.
Our traineeship is for 12 months and means that you can develop skills
and gain a nationally recognised qualification – and get paid for it! For
2016, we are offering the following traineeships:
• Certificate III in Financial Services
• Certificate III in Customer Contact
• Certificate III in Business
• Certificate III in Business Administration

The Aspire Challenge
As part of the challenge of your
traineeship you will be
expected to fund raise $2,000
for CAP during the year. Help and
support is provided to help you
achieve this.

what does an aspire trainee receive?

The content and quality of your résumé will be assessed by CAP to
determine whether you will be interviewed. It is ESSENTIAL that you
provide us with the most recent copy of your résumé.
To register your interest simply email a copy of your résumé to
by Monday 30 November 2015.
Ensure your résumé:
• Has a simple cover page, that includes your name.
• Has a plain design and font that is easy to read
• Is no longer than two pages
• Has information that highlights your education, achievements and
experience

interview, you need to prepare
in advance.
1. Interview preparation
• List 5 questions you think
might be asked
• Prepare answers to these
questions and give examples
• Think of one or two questions
you would like to ask the inter-
view panel
Some examples of questions you
may be asked:
• Why do you want to be a CAP
Aspire Trainee
• Tell us about any work experi-
ence you have completed
• Have you worked in a team?
2. Bring your Portfolio
Your portfolio should be neatly
presented in a folder and may
include:
• A current resume
• School reports
• Any current certificates of
achievement
• Any qualifications (certificates
completed, first aid courses,
IT training)
• A written reference from your
pastor or church leader

• We’d love to know why you’d
like to work with us

successful completion of your traineeship, you will have
gained a Certificate III in your chosen area as well as valuable
employment skills and experience.
Although there is no guarantee of continued employment, if a full-time
position becomes available while you are completing your traineeship,
you may be encouraged to apply.
Traineeships are a great way to gain qualifications while you work. You
are able to work and learn, meeting requirements towards a
qualification at the same time.
