During Interview Day, admitted students meet with Heider faculty, alumni and current students to interview for the Heider Dean’s Fellows Program, Scott Scholars and Scott Fellows and to experience first hand the networking and business connections available to Heider Business students. The Dean’s Fellows Program delivers a premier set of experiences for a select group of student leaders who wish to incorporate the

business environment into everyday student life. It fosters a community of high-achieving business leaders and uniquely positions Heider Fellows for specialized internships and future job placement. Scott Scholars and Scott Fellows are our most selective scholarship designations. As renewable merit-based scholarships, they afford academically gifted students the chance to explore academic, leadership, research and service opportunities.

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2016

As a college in a Jesuit university, the Heider College of Business develops ethical and socially responsible business leaders. Admitted students gain an understanding of what being a Heider Business student entails on Sunday, Competition Day. This day introduces students to the Heider classroom through an ethics case study. Split into groups of conflicting perspectives, students will evaluate their opposing points of view and

work within their group to develop resolutions to an ethical dilemma. The competition culminates with each group presenting its stance to a panel of judges. Additionally, the Heider College awards academic scholarships that recognize students for exceptional service accomplishments – Ethics & Social Responsibility – and leadership aptitude – the Christina M. Hixson Scholarship in Business.
