2016 PRESENTATION NIGHT WRAP UP

What an incredible event the Bentleigh Bowling Club put up for Presentation Night this year. Special

thanks to everyone who helped pull it all together, and especially:

Greg “Mr T” Fidler – PowerPoint guru, Chief Award Laminator and comedic straight man

Mark “Thommo” Thompson – a fantastic MC job again Thommo

Wayne “Dobbie” Dobell – Technical guru

Harold “H” Laver – Raffle mastermind and visual gags genius – awesome effort H!

Graham “Prez” Heath – Chief Prize Hander Outerer and Hugger of the winners

Lindsay Kerr – Trophy Maker – a lot of work went into those and greatly appreciated

We were also wrapt to see the great Doug Osborne and his family in attendance at the Club for

Presentation Night:

It is extremely difficult to attain this recognition as it entails a minimum of 20 years membership as

well as extensive volunteering efforts for the Club.

This year, Graham Heath welcomed Harold Laver to this elite group. While Harold was a bit

overawed (if that’s possible) those who recall the Club saving actions of Harold and his troupe of

Greg Fidler, Wayne Dobell and Mark Thompson when we were at risk of folding, will not be the least

bit surprised with this award.

Congratulations “H” and thank you for everything you have done and continue to do for us! You

thoroughly deserve all the praise and recognition!
