information may not be used, reproduced, or disclosed to any other parties for any purpose without the expressed written permission of R2C.

Corporate Capability

R2C’s Electrical and Mechanical Design Engineers have extensive avionics

integration design experience on numerous military platforms.

• Design engineering capabilities include: Complex systems schematics, electrical harness assemblies, control

panels, relay panels and platform installation designs including design of complex sheet metal, machined and

composite piece parts, assemblies and platform installations.

• The design section have produce designs in AutoCAD®, CATIA® and SolidWorks® CAD software formats

• All TDPs undergo a drawing review to ensure compliance with ASME Y14.24 and Y14.100 – 2013 and MIL-

DTL-31000C standards prior to final submittal to ensure accuracy of the data, completeness of the

information, drawing/document format correctness and understandability of the document/drawing.

• Engineering drawings and associated lists prepared by R2C are certified to provide the necessary design,

electrical, mechanical, performance, transportability, manufacturing, quality assurance, and other requirements

necessary to procure or manufacture an item that duplicates the physical and performance characteristics of

the original without additional design engineering effort.

11

R2C Has the Experience to Provide Level III TDP’s

Obsolescence and Reverse Engineering

R2C has the experience and tools to provide obsolescence management, mitigation

support and reverse engineering services for mechanical and electrical

components and software modules to replace obsolete or legacy parts.

• Reverse engineering of legacy parts can be accomplished with the use of a furnished technical

drawing package or with the use of a customer provided sample part or component. The

delivered part can be fabricated of the original specified materials or updated to more

lightweight, more durable and/or cost effective materials.

• The problem of obsolescence is most prevalent for electronics technology, wherein the

procurement lifetimes for microelectronic parts are often significantly shorter than the

manufacturing and support life cycles for the products that use the parts.

• Obsolescence extends beyond electronic components to other items, such as materials, textiles,

mechanical parts and systems.

• It is highly important to implement and operate an active management of obsolescence to

mitigate and avoid extreme costs.

Successfully Developed Obsolescence Resolutions
