3 levels of adventures:

Beginner: Never been camping? No problem! These intro trips give you the chance to dip your

toes in the water and see how you like it. We’ll teach you many skills, like how to build a proper fire, and give you a sampler of all kinds of activities.

Intermediate: This is our next level of trips. Enthusi-astic beginners are welcome, but these are definitely

more challenging trips We’ll go further each day, and explore more. The campsites are more primitive, but the views and experiences are spectacular.

Advanced: For those who have done some of our trips before and want to push themselves. Begin-

ners not welcome. These are the trips we use to train our guides. Only for those who are physicaly fit and want a true adventure!

Custom Adventures: We work with you to help you pick the difficulty, the location, the activity and

we make sure it’s your dream trip. Let us help you tick-off those bucket list items.

We take people on epic trips to beauti-ful places. That’s it. These aren’t trips to Niagara or Kensington. These are full-fledged adventures. Trips that you’ll remember for years to come and give you a chance to push yourself.

“ Last summer, I got to go on a canoe trip with Overhang Adventures. It was definitely one of the most exciting experiences of my life. It was so empowering! By the time I got back, I felt like I could do anything. It was such a good experience and was something that I’ll never forget!”

Winter Wonderland

Arrowhead Snowshoe Day - BeginnerWe’ll spend the day playing games and learning about various plants

and trees. We’ll even try to make some tea from things we can find

around the forest. This is a great way to spend the day getting to know

how to have fun during the winter, and a fantastic way to spend time

with family. Let’s head out of the city, away from the brown slush and

towards the untainted snow of the North. The forests up here always

receive their fair share of snowfall and the place looks quite a bit like

a scene from Narnia. Bring the kids and be a kid again! This day is all

about having as much fun as we can!

Killarney Winter Trip - BeginnerMaybe our most stunning trip of the year! See Killarney - Ontario’s

hidden gem - when it’s covered in a sparkling white blanket of snow!

There is a reason this trip is our guides’ favorite. The beauty of Killarney

in the winter is unmatched and unforgettable. Come join us and sleep

in a heated Yurt, or go the more adventurous route and sleep in a

prospector tent or a snow shelter! All options lead to a very fun and

unique experience!

Torrance Dark Sky Winter Trip - IntermediateOur one-night Torrance Dark Sky Winter Camping trip takes place on

a designated Dark-Sky reserve. This means that at night there is no

light coming from anywhere around, and the stars come out and shine!

This is your chance to sleep in a real prospector tent, heated only by a

wood burning stove and a passion for the outdoors. Actually, the wood

burning stove works a lot better. You’ll also have the chance to build

your own snow shelter and spend the night at a cozy -2 degrees, no

matter how cold it gets outside! An experience not to be missed!

Whitewater madness

Magnetewan River: 5 day - IntermediateCliffs line the river on both sides as you enter the narrow channel and approach the rapids ahead. When the crashing sound of water approaches, you grip your paddle and dive in. This is the Magnetewan, a paddlers dream come true. Not only is the scenery spectacular, but the river provides enough variety to learn the basics and tackle some serious rapids. We teach you everything you need to know to have an amazing and safe experience, and spend five days on one of Ontario’s most awesome playgrounds!

French River: 5 day - AdvanceOur Advanced Canoe Trip! This thing has it all – narrow rivers, whitewater, historical routes, big water with waves, amazing night skies, and a lot of adventure and fun! If conditions are right and the group moves well together, you’ll end up in the town of Killarney. If conditions are too tough, we’ll stay and play in the French River Basin, a spectacular natural setting like nothing you’ve seen before! This trip is definitely challenging and not for those afraid of a true adventure! Experience is an asset, but no experience needed as long as you’re really motivated and keen to work hard. Do you have what it takes?

Yukon: 9 day Pelly River - IntermediateAs your plane starts its descent into Whitehorse, you see the endless forests, rivers and lakes, and you start to really feel the excitement. Nine days in one of the most remote places in the world, passing through unimaginably beautiful mountain scenery, tackling epic whitewater under a sun that never sets. This is the Yukon, and you’re about to experience one of Canada’s most amazing hidden treasures. Travelling the ancient routes of the fur traders by canoe really gives one the feeling of travelling back in time. Gone is the technology and luxury of the modern world, leaving only you, your group, and the river.

KillarneyCanoe/Hiking Trip - BeginnerKillarney is so beautiful and so inspirational that many of the Group of Seven’s paintings are based on the different locations in this amaz-ing park. We start with a quick canoe lesson to get you ready for the weekend, and then we take off on the spectacular Bell Lake. When we get to camp, we’ll teach you a series of backcountry camp skills, including how, how to chop firewood and build a fire, and plenty of other camping skills. In the evening, prepare to be covered by a blan-ket of stars. On our second day, we’ll head out on a canoe trip with the intention of getting to the top of the beautiful Silver Peak. The hike takes us through a mix of forested landscapes, and up to the tallest peak in the park – a part of the LaCloche mountain range that at one point used to be taller than the Rocky Mountains. From here you can see for miles in every direction and as far as the coast of Georgian Bay! Our guides take you to some of the best sites that on this side of Killarney, and make for a weekend that you won’t soon forget!

Fall Colours Trip - IntermediateThis is our most sought-after trip of the year! The peak of the Fall colours in one of the most beautiful places in Central Ontario. Picture tall white granite peaks, infused with quartzite, overlooking crystal blue waters, covered in trees of vibrant red, yellow, orange, green and brown! It’s our favourite trip of the year and we often have to do a raffle to see which guide will be lucky enough to lead it.

georgian Bay Yoga Retreat - IntermediateThis is a trip where two beautiful passions merge to create the perfect balance of excitement, beauty, relaxation, and movement. We paddle out on the bay and find our own island among 30,000 available to choose from, set up camp, and prepare ourselves for our Yoga practice. We’ll spend the next few days shifting from canoeing on the bay, saluting the sun (all campsites face the sunset!), relaxing by the fire, and sharing the company of new-found friends. The waters will be warm and swimming in the crystal blue waters will be encouraged. Camp on the point which is the closest thing we have in Ontario to an “ocean view”. Truly a magical trip.

Bruce Peninsula

Learn to camp - BeginnerLearn to Camp is a three-day camping adventure based at Cyprus Lake. We’ll spend the weekend teaching you how to camp, including how to set up your site for maximum comfort, how to chop wood, build fires, and cook using camping equipment. We know that nobody comes to this park that doesn’t want to explore its unique beauty, so we’ll spend as much time as possible hiking and exploring the one-of-a-kind geology found in this part of Ontario. We’ve spent a lot of time up in the Bruce, and we know some amazing spots that only the locals know about! Of course, no trip to the Bruce would be complete without a hike to the Grotto, one of the most well-known spots in central Ontario. If weather is good and the group is keen, we’ll go explore other not-so-often visited gems and get a really unique taste of Bruce Peninsula. Depending on the group and the weather, we also love walking through the forest and identifying different trees and other plant-life and teach you about how to use the woods. In the evenings, we’ll hang out by the campfire roasting marshmallows (and some other delicious gourmet goodies!) and play camp games.

spies of stormhaven game - IntermediateThe Spies of Stormhaven is a 3-day game where your group is tasked with saving the park from an evil oil tycoon who is set on destroying it. Unfortunately, the oil company has sent spies to stop you, and sabotage your mission. Do you have what it takes to save the park? *****The Bruce Peninsula is considered one of the most beautiful places in all of Ontario. Join us and explore the most beautiful section of the Bruce Trail, alongside the crystal-clear waters of Georgian Bay, as the water crashes against the towering cliffs of the escarpment. A paradise here in Ontario.
