CAR BENEFIT POLICIES AROUND THE WORLDAround the world today, organisations are exploring more effective tools and ways to retain and attract key talent. One key area of focus for many companies is the provision of car-related benefits, such as a company-provided vehicle or car allowance. Mercer’s new Car Benefit Policies Around the World (CBP) publication provides information on car benefit programmes around the world. Presenting a consistent set of global data related to car benefit policies, this new publication provides HR managers with a deeper understanding of how policies differ by country and region. It contains the most current information available for car benefit polices in 88 markets so that HR professionals can remain on top of policy trends, and provides indices that are critical to those individuals responsible for crafting a car policy.

METHODOLOGY CBP contains data from a new global survey conducted in February and March of 2017. The results allow companies to compare like-for-like content across all countries included in the survey. The report also provides core car policy data (sourced from Mercer’s Total Remuneration Surveys) for 43 countries that were not covered in the survey.
