Thank you for taking part in the Telstra Business Awards. This is an example of the comprehensive Business

Benchmark Report you’ll receive after completing your entry. It’s a powerful tool to help you improve and grow your

business. You can use it to identify and implement changes that will help your business become ‘that’ business.

As part of your 2018 Telstra Business Awards entry, we’ll invite you to provide us with information about your

business, including your vision for the future, your approach to customers and marketing, your current operations,

the people and culture you foster, your impact on society and the financial acumen within your business. We’ll use

this information to produce a custom Business Benchmark Report covering all aspects of your business.

The report is divided into six sections, corresponding to the six independent business benchmarks of the entry

process. In each section, we’ll identify what you are doing well, and what you might be able to do better.

Importantly, we’ll provide practical steps you can implement right away to make your business more efficient,

more competitive and more profitable.

Strategy & VisionThe strategy and vision section is about defining what you want

your business to be, and the strategies you have put in place to

realise this vision.

It looks at how you define your vision for the business and

communicate this to your team. It also looks at how well advanced

your business is in documenting a strategy for the future through a

robust and comprehensive business plan, including the inputs

used in the creation of this plan, and the triggers for reviewing,

measuring and updating the strategies it outlines.
