the F.M. Day computer lab for a tutorial on Em-

power access for parents! This will be an oppor-

tunity for you to learn the basics of logging on

and tracking your child(ren)’s progress on the

District’s Empower website. We look forward to

seeing you all there! Snacks will be provided.

Hello F.M. Day Families! We are starting some sculpture projects in Art Class and we need your help! I

am collecting different recyclable items that we can use in our art projects. If

you have any of the following items and would be willing to donate them to

your child’s art class it would be a huge help. Of course, please make sure that they are clean and ready for students to use.

Things we need:

Newspapers (no magazines please)

Toilet paper and paper towel rolls

Cereal and cracker boxes

You can send these items with your students to school, or can drop them off di-

rectly in the Art Room. Of course, if you have any questions feel free to call

and ask! Thank you so much!

Also, the 15th Annual WPS Art show is coming up! Many of you will

have students who are featured in the show. The opening reception

is on Thursday, April 20 from 4:30-7:00 at Westminster High School. If

your child is one of the featured artists, they will receive a special no-

tification letting you know. Hope to see you there!

¡Saludos familias de F.M. Day! Estamos comenzando un proyecto de escultura en la clase de arte y

¡necesitamos su ayuda! Estamos recolectando diferentes artículos reciclables

para usar en este proyecto de arte. Si usted tiene alguno de estos artículos y

los desea donar a la clase de arte de su hijo/a, sería de mucha ayuda. Por fa-vor, asegúrese que estén limpios y listos para que los estudiantes los usen.

Cosas que necesitamos:

Periódicos (por favor, no envíe revistas)

Los rollos de papel de baño y toallas de cocina

Cajas de cereal y de galletas

Usted puede enviar estos artículos a la escuela con su hijo/a o los puede traer

directamente al salón de arte. ¡Si tiene alguna pregunta no dude en llamar y

preguntar! ¡Muchísimas gracias!

Además, ¡pronto tendremos el 15vo Show de Arte Anual de WPS! Mu-

chos de ustedes tienen hijos que estarán exhibiendo en el show. La

recepción de apertura será el jueves, 20 de abril de 4:30 a 7:00 en la

Escuela Preparatoria Westminster. Si su hijo/a es uno de los artistas

que estará exhibiendo, usted recibirá una notificación comunicán-

doselo. ¡Esperamos verlos ahí!
