SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

Recently completed, major geological framework, prospectivity and targeting studycovering PRU’s Edikan Gold Mine Project in the Kumasi Basin, Ghana.

CGSG identified >50 targets, including 10 high priority targets, that are now being fieldchecked and assessed for immediate follow-up, including drilling.

The study involved a compilation of all available geological, geochemical, geophysical anddrill data to develop a 3D lithostructural interpretation that was used to generate apredictive model to identify the most prospective ground and provide a priority-ranked list oftargets.

The study also included database QAQC and a large geophysical component, including theprocessing and filtering of new and legacy EM, IP, magnetic, gravity and radiometric data.

Perseus Mining Ltd(ASX & TSX:PRU)

Tenement rationalisation study covering PGD’s extensive tenement portfolio (>3,500 km2)in the Deseado Massif, Argentina, also including a belt-wide target generation component.

CGSG completed a detailed appraisal of all previous exploration, reviewed andinterpretated the geology, structure and tectonics, and identified 30+ target areas withpotential for discovery of new, significant low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver systemsand resource development opportunities.

The targeting was supported by state of the art processing and filtering of gravity, magnetic, radiometric and remote sensing data.

The study results and recommendations helped PGD’s exploration team to rationalise theirtenement portfolio and raise internal funds for team expansion and fast-tracking discoverythrough evaluation and drill testing of high priority exploration targets and acquisition ofnew, highly prospective ground.

SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES

Major near-mine to regional geological framework, targeting and prospectivity studycovering AKG’s Asankrangwa Gold Mine project and the entire Kumasi Basin, Ghana.

Traditional exploration targeting techniques were used in conjunction with GIS-drivenprobabilistic modelling techniques for predicting gold potential.

CGSG generated 25 high priority brown- and greenfields targets that are currentlysystematically evaluated and tested by AKG.

Outcomes and recommendations helped AKG’s exploration team to secure a significantinternal budget for expanding the exploration team and fast-tracking discovery throughevaluation and drill testing of high priority exploration targets.

The study generated strong media coverage for CGSG and has resulted in AKGcommissioning follow-up work.

Major surficial calcrete-hosted uranium prospectivity and endowment study commissionedby the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency, covering the entire desertregion of Western Australia.

CGSG and Associates developed a holistic, methodical, uranium mineral systems modelfor assessing prospectivity, and novel tools for estimating undiscovered endowment.

Overall, the study delivered a universal best practice template designed to underpin similarwork elsewhere and support prospectivity and endowment studies by IAEA member statesglobally.

The study also resulted in an IAEA TECDOC contribution (to be published in 2018) and afollow-up study of surficial calcrete-hosted uranium systems in Namibia.

AWARDS. Success in Global Exploration Crowdsourcing Challenges

3rd place: Integra Rush Challenge. Team leader: Dr Oliver Kreuzer. High-profile global crowdsourcing competition aimed at identifying exploration targets

with the potential for the next big gold discovery. Participants were given access to six terabytes of historic data collected over 70 years

of mining and exploration at the globally significant, high-grade Sigma-Lamaque goldmines, Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Quebec.

CGSG generated and prioritised 25 in-mine, geophysical and conceptual explorationtargets by compiling and analysing all available (drilling, mining, geological andgeophysical) data in the context of our knowledge of similar gold systems worldwide.

Geophysical (in particular magnetic inversion) modelling played a major role in that thiswork facilitated identification of possible unrecognized intrusive plugs (main gold hosts)and structures controlling the location of gold mineralisation.

3rd place: Karelian Gold Rush Challenge. Team leader: Dr Oliver Kreuzer. Global crowdsourcing competition aimed at stimulating innovative and out-of-box

thinking applied to the identification of new exploration targets and geological modelscapable of yielding a big gold discovery at Endomines’ Karelian Gold Line property.

Supplied data covered the entire Karelian Gold Line (c. 400 km2) and included a drillhole database and geological, geochemical, geophysical and remote sensing data.

CGSG developed a tailor-made targeting model, embarked upon advanced processingand filtering of the geophysical and remote sensing data, and carried out prospectivitymodelling. The team then analysed all available data and results and generated 10high-priority targets in the context of our knowledge of similar systems worldwide.

EXAMPLE 6. Big Springs Gold Mine Hydrology Project

Client:

Anova Metals Ltd (ASX:AWV)

Task:

Critically review and improve the existing hydrogeological model for the Big Springs mine area

Key Issue & Objectives:

Environmental sensitivities required a transparent, scientific and defensible approach

Produce an updated 3D hydrogeological model for the mine area

Plan new water monitoring wells for pumping tests in the 601 trial pit area

Approach:

Compile all relevant geological, hydrological and climatic and data

Build a 3D geological and regolith model using the extensive Big Springs drill hole database

Undertake a more detailed study of aquifers in the 601 trial pit area

EXAMPLE 6. Big Springs Gold Mine Hydrology Project

Results:

Identification and characterisation of apreviously unrecognised aquifer

This aquifer, a substantial body of highlyporous glacial till (“moraine aquifer”) andconcealed paleovalley has major implicationsfor the hydrology of the 601 pit area

Identification and characterisation of perchedlocal and deeper regional bedrock aquiferselsewhere within the mine area

Study results provided a major milestonetowards permitting a future gold miningoperation at Big Springs
