Welcome! From LuCille Tack’s vision back in 1994 to our twenty-third season of presenting quality artistic experiences, we would like to think we’ve only just begun. Showcasing an eclectic mix of culture, music, theatre and comedy has always been our intent. We try very hard to provide something for everyone.

But times and priorities change. You’ve told us that weekends were so busy it was difficult to make time for your own enrichment. To address this, we have scheduled several performances on weeknights. You can put supper on the table, cruise to the Tack, enjoy some live entertainment in a social setting and be home before the news. Of course, there are still lovely opportunities for date nights and get-togethers with friends on the weekend.

And while we’ve got your ear, could we talk about trust? We’d like to believe we’ve earned yours! Even after presenting hundreds of shows, we would argue that there’s never been a bad one. A few may have been “different,” but they’ve always met or exceeded a certain level of quality. So this season, we encourage you to trust us. Take a chance on something new and put your hard earned dollars on a show that sounds interesting. Consider it an adventure and allow yourself to be surprised. Trust us to do the heavy lifting in selecting events for our stage, so you can choose from any of them without fear of making a mistake. You may be pleased with what you learn about yourself in the process.

And speaking of process, purchasing tickets online should be even easier this season. It’s another example of how everything we do is directed at making your time with us more meaningful, more comfortable and well, just more! So sit down with a cuppa, take a peek at what’s coming to our theatre and make plans that you can look forward to in the coming months. It will extend the pleasure all that much more!

We’re eager to welcome you back to the Tack. Remember, we’ve only just begun!

Gina ChavezSaturday, February 9, 2019 7:30 p.m. Reserved seating $25

From NPR’s Tiny Desk Concert to small-town Spencer, meet Gina Chavez, a Latina pop-songstress who blends sounds of the Americas with tension and grace. Perhaps most striking is the ease with which she moves between social and love songs, between North American and Latin genres, and between languages, sometimes passing from English to Spanish and back mid-song. Chavez’s passionate collection of bilingual canciones takes the audience on a journey through the Americas, where she and her band have performed in nine countries, touring as cultural ambassadors for the US State Department. After being featured on NPR’s “All Things Considered,” her first album hit #1 on Amazon and Latin iTunes charts and she continues to receive accolades and call-outs from media across the United States. ginachavez.com
