  • HighlightsThis year’s Annual Spring Meeting will be held at the Hyatt Regency Austin in Austin, TX.

    Thank you to local hosts Ammar Ahmed, MD and Matthew Fox, MD for developing the CME program, meeting events and virtual patient viewings.

    SUPPORT YOUR FUTURE PARTNERTo encourage resident attendance, TDS offers housing stipends to offset the travel and lodging costs for residents to attend the meeting. Please consider donating $25 to this fund. Donors will be acknowledged in the onsite syllabus and TDS newsletter.

    TARGET AUDIENCEThe target audience is dermatologists, dermatological surgeons, pediatric dermatologists and residents in dermatology. Educational Methods used will include lectures, Q&A sessions, and case presentations.

    BUSINESS MEETING, CHANGE OF OFFICERS AND AWARDSEveryone is welcome to attend the business meeting, but only Active, Associate, Affiliate, Honorary and Life members of TDS may vote. The business luncheon will held on Friday at the conclusion of the CME sessions.

    TDS EXHIBIT HALL – DOOR PRIZE DRAWINGS!Please take time to visit our exhibitors as they help keep the cost of this meeting low for attendees. TDS will host door prize drawing for those of you who visit the exhibitors. Winners will be announced at the Networking Lunch on Saturday.

In return, the hotel offers the complimentary or reduced meeting room and other services that make the TDS meeting so successful.   • RESIDENT HOUSING STIPENDThe TDS offers a generous housing stipend to all residents who attend the meeting. Each resident who applies for the stipend will be presented with a housing stipend reimbursement form upon check-in. This form should be filled out and returned to the TDS registration table or business office within a week of the meeting. Each resident will have one night reimbursed in host hotel, or an equivalent hotel.

    RESIDENT LUNCHYour co-resident reps to the board wanted to get the group together this spring for a resident lunch. Please join your fellow TDS Residents from 11:30AM – 1:00PM on the Zilker Terrace for a great lunch with guest speaker Jim Kelso. Hope to see you there!

    RESIDENT PODIUM AND POSTER COMPETITIONThe resident podium competition will take place from 1:15 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 27. The residents competing in this competition will be up for one of three awards: 1st place and $500, 2nd place and $300 or 3rd place and $200.

    The resident poster competition will take place all day on Friday, April 27. The posters will be judged throughout the day on Friday, you do not have to be present at your board to win.     All winners will be announced during the business meeting on Friday afternoon. You do not have to be present to win.
