1 005-hkg Modeling and Solving Heterogeneous Fleet Vehicle Routing Problems in Draft Beer Delivery: A Case Study Chansiri Singhtaun and Siwa Tapradub Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kasetsart University 50 Ngamwongwan Rd. Chatuchak Bangkok, 10900, Thailand Abstract: This article proposes a mathematical model and a solution method for a heterogeneous fleet vehicle routing problem (HFVRP), which is applied in a draft beer manufacturing company. The objective is to determine the optimal set of customers and delivery route for a fleet of vehicles so that the minimum delivery cost is acheived. There are 12 vehicles separated into 3 types provided to deliver draft beer to 14 customers. The delivery cost depends on the fuel consumption rate of the vehicle and the travel distance. The delivery planning program according to the model is developed using Microsoft Excel. Branch and bound algorithm in OpenSolver is used to solve the problem. The results show that the delivery cost can be reduced by 8.15% after implementation.

2 009-hkg Effect of Basalt Fibers on the Physical and Mechanical Properties of MB Modifier based High-Strength Concrete Makhmud Kharun*, Dmitry D. Koroteev Department of Civil Engineering, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia Abstract: Basalt fibers (BF) have become intriguing nowadays for infrastructural and civil engineering applications due to the concern about mechanical properties, thermal and chemical resistance, and also environmental friendliness. Mass production of high-strength concrete (HSC) in Russia is mainly associated with the use of organomineral modifiers of the MB series, containing in their composition microsilica, fly ash, hardening regulator and superplasticizer C-3 in different ratios. In our study we produced HSC specimens (without BF, and with 1 wt.% chopped BF) using the modifier MB10-30, with the dimensions of

100x100x100 mm and 100x100x400 mm. The compressive strength, the tensile strength at bending, the strength at axial tension and the cracking moment, at the curing periods of 7, 14, 28, 60 days, have been determined. The results showed that the inclusion of BF in MB modifier based HSC resulted in a decrease in the compressive strength, however, significantly enhanced its tensile behavior.

3 010-hkg Effect of Silica Fume on the Hardened Recycled Aggregate Concrete Properties M.I. Abu Mahadi, M.A. Shamseldin* Department of Civil Engineering, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia Abstract: Use of recycled aggregate in concrete has become compulsion for many countries due to the scarcity of natural aggregates. The use of demolished concrete debris as aggregates in concrete results in economical significant and environmental benefits. In present work, an attempt has been made to study the effect of the addition of silica fume to recycled aggregate on the behavior of compressive strength, tensile strength, static modulus of elasticity. The effect of recycled aggregate replacing percentage with the addition of silica fume were considered in this research work. Experimental results, generally, showed that there is a reduction in concrete mechanical properties due to use of recycled aggregates. This reduction depended on the amount of recycled aggregates. It’s observed that the addition of 10 % silica fume improved the mechanical properties of the recycled aggregate, where it was noticed in this presented work that replacing 10% of cement by silica fume improved the compressive strength by 50%, the tensile strength by 34.9% and the static modulus of elasticity by 6.5% for a concrete with 75% recycled coarse aggregate compared with the same percentage of recycled coarse aggregate without the addition of silica fume.

4 011-hkg Deformations and Stresses in the Structural Reinforcement when using Wending Rods A.S. Markovich1, V.S. Kuznetsov2, M.I. Abu Mahadi1, Yu. A. Shaposhnikova3 1 Department of Civil Engineering, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University), Moscow, Russia; 2 Department of Architectural Construction Design, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Moscow, Russia; 3 Department of Reinforced Concrete and Stone Structures, Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, Moscow, Russia Abstract: In monolithic construction, when manufacturing reinforcing articles on a construction site, technological requirements for the bending of rods may not always be observed. In various regulatory documents, there are differences in the technological requirements for this operation. The article presents the results of studies of the stress-

strain state of reinforcement in the manufacture of clamps, pins and other products related to the bending of rods. Normative requirements and calculated values of limiting relative deformations for various classes of reinforcement and mandrel diameters are given. The recommendations of norms on the diameters of rods and mandrels in the manufacture of bent rods are checked and refined. The relative elongations or shortening of the fibers of the rod are determined by the difference in arc lengths of the midline and arc at a distance x from the midline. According to the results of the work, graphs of the distribution of the relative elongations of the rods are presented for different diameters of the mandrels as a function of the distance from the axis of the section. Plastic deformations develop practically over the entire cross-sectional area of the rod. The use of mandrels with radius less than R = 5r at the bending of armatures А400 and А500S is connected by the risk of cracking, delamination or destruction of the rod. The use of mandrels made from reinforcing bars A240 with mandrels of radius R = 2r is unacceptable, since edge deformations reach 35%, which exceeds the normative values and leads to the destruction of the rod. Also, the boundaries of the ratio of mandrel diameters for smooth reinforcement A240 and periodic A500S are presented. The results of this study can be used in practical work, as well as to establish the minimum mandrel diameters when using new types of reinforcement with other physical and mechanical properties.

Abstract: This paper extends the material demand model with conditional probability of previous information. To consider the ordering quantity and ordering time as two relative variables, a Bayesian model is propose to generate two different cases. The empirical data is used to estimate parameters of proposed model and make model calibration. The results show good fitness between empirical data and simulation data when ordering time is conditioned by ordering quantity. Finally the conclusion is made for practical application in operations and production management.

consequences, the main purpose of this research is to explore and compare the receptions of health risks among youth and experts in public health in the context of Central Asia. The phenomenological research was used to analyze qualitative data from thirteen depth interviews with experts from public health, government, and youth organizations and two focus groups with youth. The results of both depth interviews with experts and focus groups with youth pointed out negative consequences of health risk behaviors including addictive behaviors such as smoking, alcohol, drugs, gaming. However, participants of the depth interviews, especially from the areas of public health and education, were more specific in describing various negative outcomes for mental and body health in comparison with the youth focus group members who were more general in their perceptions of health risks. It can be concluded that youth are not well informed about particular health risks. Recommendations are proposed as to prevent and reduce long term negative consequences from the health risks for individuals and for the whole society.

7 018-hkg IMPLEMENTING ASSESSMENT POLICY: CONSIDERING THE BIFACTOR TEACHER SATISFACTION CRITERION Mohamad Sahari Nordin1, Mohd Burhan Ibrahim2, Tunku Badariah Tunku Ahmad3, Enas Saied Abu Libdeh4 1Kulliyyah of Education International Islamic University Malaysia, 53100 Jalan Gombak, [email protected] 2Kulliyyah of Education International Islamic University Malaysia, 53100 Jalan Gombak, [email protected] 3Kulliyyah of Education International Islamic University Malaysia, 53100 Jalan Gombak, [email protected] 4Al Ain University of Science and Technology, United Arab Emirates [email protected]

Abstract: The study examined teachers’ general satisfaction and specific satisfactions in implementing education policy. First it confirmed the validity of a four-factor teacher satisfaction construct. Next it identified the best-fitting measure of teacher satisfaction measurement among four theoretically viable measures, namely a unidimension satisfaction construct, four-factor construct, second-order factor construct, and a bifactor measure that comprised general and specifics factors. Finally, the study tested whether teachers’ agreement with the implementation of nation-wide assessment policy related to the best-fitting model, which was the bifactor model. A total of 2,374 teachers nested in 300 randomly selected schools in Malaysia was surveyed using a 15-item instrument. The results supported the hypotheses that the four-factor measure was adequate to explain the variability of teachers’ responses to the satisfaction items, the bifactor model was the best-fitting model, and teachers’ endorsement of the implementation of assessment policy supported the teachers’ general satisfaction, satisfaction towards workload, and satisfaction towards pay and benefits.

Abstract: This paper reports on a survey conducted in selected secondary schools in Malaysia to explore students' intention to enrol in science studies and establish whether intention would be influenced by attitude towards science, science-efficacy, subjective norm, and perceived difficulty of science subjects. Another aim of the survey was to determine if gender, ethnicity, and school location moderated the associations between intention and its predictors. The data were collected randomly from 398 15-year old students from 38 secondary schools in Malaysia using a 15-item questionnaire. To address the research objectives, the data were analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling. The results supported the hypotheses that the four predictors were adequate to explain intention to pursue science studies, particularly attitude and science-efficacy which were the most influential predictors. Additionally, gender, ethnicity, and school location did not moderate the predictor-intention relationships. The results suggest that the planning, implementation and evaluation of efforts to enhance science participation among students should consider how to develop more science-efficacy and positive attitudes towards the subjects.

secular motives with travel intention and satisfaction of Muslim tourists. Moreover, the cluster analysis is applied to differentiate religious tourists from Central Asia based on their motivations to travel to Saudi Arabia. The analysis of the survey data of 285 pilgrims from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan shows that while religious motives are related to both intention to visit and satisfaction, secular motives are related to intention, but not related to satisfaction of the Muslim tourists. The cluster analysis produced three groups of tourists: religious-motivated, hybrid-motived, and less-motivated. The recommendations are provided regarding how to approach and serve these three clusters of religious tourists in post-secular societies.

discuss these factors during 1979~2014. Results: As a result, it was demonstrated that the barriers to Taiwanese women's engagement in regular leisure physical activities were as follows: time(13.7%), gender consciousness(12.6%), space and facilities(12.1%), finance(9.3%), physiological and psychological factors(8.8%), companion(8.2%), family and children(8%), sport skills(5%), education(3.8%), environmental safety(3.3%), interest(2.7%), instructors(2.7%), work(2.2%), weather(1.7%), lack of support(1.7%), life pressure(1.1%), personality(1.1%), social behavior(1.1%), and traffic(1.1%). Conclusions: According to the data analysis, the study found that major factors of barriers to women's engagement in regular leisure physical activities were structural constraints. Besides, there were also intrapersonal constraints and interpersonal constraints. These barriers required careful examinations in order to advance the idea that sport world is not male dominated. Males were not the only ones who needed physical leisure activities. Notwithstanding its limitations, this study does suggest that females needed to learn how to manage time and assets more efficiently. Subsequently, it could not be over emphasized that females needed to build up self-confidence. Moreover, schools and society should put more emphasis on female physical education. Especially, Females should learn to develop career and life planning. In addition, it was noted that gender equality consciousness should be promoted. Furthermore, more sports facilities and environment improving the service quality for female customers should be built. The government should also enforce the law protecting the rights of female participation in physical leisure activities. More resources and efforts should be poured in to overcome above-mentioned barriers. Consequently, the conclusions and suggestions from this study intend to provide the useful information to increase the female population who participated in leisure physical activities in Taiwan. Specifically, the future study will examine barrier factors hindering foreign women's leisure sports participation and compare those with barrier factors obstructing Taiwanese women's participation in leisure sports.
