This report summarises wind turbine orders thattook place from 1 January 2018 to 31 March 2019.

WindEurope tracks announced wind turbine orderson the basis of publicly available information oncommercial transactions and future deals,categorising them into firm orders, conditionalorders, partnerships and framework agreements.The latter entails more than one order in adetermined period with or without a specifiedamount of wind turbine units or capacity. Anyorders which do not fit into these categories areclassified as unknown.

We do not track Enercon orders because they arenot publicly available.

Nordex refers to Nordex-Acciona.

WindEurope counts wind turbine orders on the basis ofpublicly available deals and distinguishes between firmorders, conditional orders and framework agreements.Orders which do not fit into these categories are classifiedunder ‘unknown.’ All types of orders are tracked but analysisper country and company is carried out on firm orders alone,unless specified. We do not track Enercon orders becausethey are not publicly available. Furthermore, we do not tracksmall-scale turbines (i.e. those smaller than 100 kW).
