I cannot believe we are at the end of another great year of preschool! We are so excited for our graduat-
ing class of 4 year olds – they are ready to head to kindergarten in the fall. Preschool Graduation will be
Tuesday May 21st at 6:30.
Our fours are finishing out the year learning about animals. We will go our annual trip to Lazy 5 ranch and
get to see animals up close! The two’s and three’s will visit Ingram’s Strawberry Farm and will get to see
and pet lots of animals and pick yummy strawberries!
Our family fun day is Wednesday , May 22nd. We will play with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, have water play, face painting and
enjoy a pizza lunch!
Also this year, our Founder and four’s teacher, Betsy Sink, is retiring. Please join us in a Reception honoring Betsy on Sat-
urday, May 11th from 4-6 pm (floating).
We still have openings in the preschool for the upcoming school year – if you know of a two, three or four year old, send
them our way! We’d love to have them next year. Registration forms are on the door of the preschool office or available
online. Be sure to share the news of our program with your family and friends!!
Thank you! - Sheila Breese, Co-Director, FUMC Preschool

Our Purpose: "The organized unit of United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is
to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive
fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church."
UMW News May 2019
After a beautiful Easter Season, we turn the calendar to May! Thanks be to God for
another opportunity to reach out in missions to serve women, youth and children
throughout the world. What will our service to Him look like during this Spring sea-
son. Will we renew our faith, hope and love and put it into ACTION? Let us all collec-
tively proclaim: YES, by God’s Grace and Mercy! We have celebrated our 150 year Legacy and are
challenged to begin the next 150 years with strength and commitment.
Each woman in God’s church is called to come join our efforts. Together we can better serve our God.
New ideas of how we can better serve are always welcomed.
We’ll gather for fellowship, good food and a fun auction with our resident auctioneer,
Doreen Horlick, on Thursday, May 16 at 6:00 p.m. Bring a ‘treasure’ to auction and come
enjoy the FUN! This is a fundraiser for our mission projects.
YOU are an important part of our future Legacy. Is God calling you to join us in service to his people?
Through your Prayers, Presence and Perseverance WE Together will SERVE our communities; locally
and globally.
