Details: No matter who you are or where you come from, Christmas has a certain magic to it; a bright spark. The Bendigo Kids Christmas Concert seeks to encapsulate that spark for an hour within the Bendigo community.

The Bendigo Kids Christmas Concert acts a symbol of community, involving various performance and sponsorship groups from the Bendigo region whilst also giving back to those in our community who need it most. All funds raised through the Concert go directly to the Bendigo Health Christmas Appeal and in 2018 we raised $8162.46. For some of the kids in our audience each and every year, attending the show is their Christmas present which pushes our performers and supporters to give every bit of themselves in the creation of a spectacular show.

INFORMATION & ABOUT THE CONCERT

Page 3: 2019 Christmas Concert Production Folder · within the Bendigo community. The Bendigo Kids Christmas Concert acts a symbol of community, involving various performance and sponsorship

Description: Previously in the Bendigo Kids’ Christmas Concert Cast, performers were required to be a triple threat, singing, dancing and acting their way through a variety of holiday hits! However, in 2019 the cast will be formatted in a different way. For those individuals who excel in singing, dancing or acting separately, we will be having distinct ensembles for each. While casting for these ensembles separately, each of the cast members will be required to showcase some skills across the board for visual effect and auditory strength.

Total Cast Size: 20 - 25 Cast Members

Acting/Singing Ensemble: 10 - 12 Cast Members

Dance Ensemble: 6 - 8 Cast Members

Vocal Ensemble: 4 - 5 Cast Members

Notes: These numbers are variable based on the auditionees who express interest in the Concert.
