2019 KING ARTHUR FLOUR
BAKING CONTEST
DATE: Saturday, July 20
TIME: Check in entries between 12:30 and 1 p.m. in the Home and Garden Exhibit Hall lo-
cated on the Meade County Fairgrounds, 878 Hillcrest Drive, Brandenburg KY 40108.
Judging will begin at 1:15.
OPEN TO ALL AGES
KING ARTHUR FLOUR PRIZES:
1st place: $75 gift certificate to the Baker’s Catalogue/kingarthurflour.com
2nd place: $50 gift certificate to the Baker’s Catalogue/kingarthurflour.com
3rd place: $25 gift certificate to the Baker’s Catalogue/kingarthurflour.com
RULES:
1. Exhibitor must bring the opened bag of King Arthur Flour or submit a UPC label from the flour bag when
he/she submits the entry.
2. Contestant will provide SIX muffins made from a recipe of their choice and must use King Arthur Flour.
3. Entry forms must be received no later than July 18 at the Meade County Extension Office.
4. Must provide a legible recipe with the entry, preferably typed.
5. All entries must be submitted on a disposable plate for judging.
6. Criteria: Taste 50 points
Overall Appearance + Creativity 25 points
Texture 25 points
TOTAL 100 points
7. Failure to follow the rules may result in disqualification.
8. King Arthur Flour is not responsible for replacing lost or misplaced prizes or ribbons (including: gift cards).
