Mission Statement
The Mission of Main Street Aurora is to revitalize the historic downtown
physically, commercially, and as a community gathering place.
Vision Statement
Downtown Aurora will be a thriving business, residential and arts community
offering a unique experience that seamlessly blends the natural beauty of its landscape, preservation of its historic
heritage and a multitude of retail, entertainment and service
establishments.
This small section was taken from a “WINDOWS OF AURORA” painting within the Main Street Aurora boundaries, which covers Fifth Street to Broadway Street and the Ohio River to US 50.

You must have your entry in by November 14th, 2019. Only one entry per person!

As Aurora celebrates its bicentennial in 2019, Indiana Landmarks, Main Street Aurora, and Dearborn County Historical Society invite exploration of historic landmarks across the city, including private homes, an 1850 church, a railroad depot, a commercial building, and even a local brewery housed in a warehouse with brewing history.
