A Plus Alliance Home Care “CPR & First Aid”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Plus Alliance Home Care Agency will have several licensed RN’s volunteering and administering CPR/First Aid classes for seniors, person with disability and young adults. We will train each individual on how to preserve life, prevent further injury and promote recovery. The ultimate goal is to have one hundred participants in all groups to be well informed and CPR/First Aid certified. This training will show them how to provide care for simple and complex injuries, perform quality CPR, the fundamentals of basic airway management, respond and act to common medical problems that may occur and safety prevention, this course will also include infants, adults and children.

All Kidney Patient Support Group “Community Medical Mall”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: AKPSG plans to educate, and inspire our community by implementing the Community Medical Mall. This event will include, doctors, peers, and professionals with expertise in Heart Disease, Cancer, Diabetes, Hypertension and Kidney disease. ANSO of Tampa Bay “Salvation Army Sally Refresh”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ANSO of Tampa Bay will support the Sallie House by providing basic needs services including: painting and pressure-‐‑washing the main facility and 1-‐‑2 homes, fixing the children’s bicycles and other toys, cleaning and beautifying the garden, planting/repairing the butterfly garden, and replacing a shade cloth that was damaged in the recent storms.

Babies Lives Matter “Baby Bag Bonanza”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Our project is The Baby Bag Bonanza! We will be giving out 100 baby bags filled with baby supplies with information/resources to low income families with babies under one years old. In addition we will have several raffles for large baby equipment, food, vendors, and fun! PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project will consist of a health education an awareness project base learning style workshop for youth, families and adults. Caring for Girls Academy “Shakers & Movers”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: We will host a conference that comprises three outbreak sessions in areas of; personal development, body image, and community. Girls will be divided into groups and attend three 50 minutes sessions to gather information through verbal instruction, guided discussions, activities, and by completing a community project. CASA “Jewelry of Hope”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Family Fun Day attendees will assemble “jewelry of hope” with beads made by survivors of domestic violence and other volunteers. The necklaces will be given to persons fleeing domestic violence when they are admitted to an emergency shelter, as a sign of community support and encouragement. Community EFX, Inc. “Interfaith Bus Tour”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: An educational bus tour that will introduce and educate youth on the different faiths that worked to make Dr. King, Jr. Civil Rights Movement a reality. A tour of different places of worship, including a cultural dining experience. Students participating will journal their experience. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Empact Solutions will partner with businesses to provide information on job openings. Also a workshop will be given on how to properly complete applications, resume writing techniques, career scope screening, and motivational speeches to encourage veterans on transition from military to civilian life. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Gospel Health Brunch, a delicious meal presented during uplifting, comforting and soulful music. The meal is enhanced by the presentation of useful knowledge on HIV/AIDS prevention, volunteering, hospice care and advance care planning. Hair by Ahsile “Helping the Homeless”
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Helping the homeless population in St. Petersburg with free hair wash and haircuts, waxing, braiding, perms, manicures, food, clothes, blankets, and toiletry items. This project will also allow for children in the community to volunteer and build a long lasting legacy of giving back. Transportation will be provided. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A Community Unity event celebrating cultural diversity that includes a variety of cultural exhibits, cultural performances, health activities and health screenings. Events include creation of an anti-‐‑bullying Public Service Announcement video. A Community Unity Dream Board will be on display at the MLK Family Fun Day. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project promotes awareness, prevention, education and testing for HIV/AIDS in Pinellas County.
