From the Principal

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

International Day of People with Disability: We happily recognised the International Day of People with Disability on 3 December, 2018.

Thank You: Our teaching staff have worked tirelessly for your children in 2018. They cannot do the wonderful job they do without your support, the support of the students, P&C, School Board, Education Assistants, Front Office staff, the cleaners, the gardener, Mrs Beal, Mrs Watson, Mrs Abernethy and Ms Della Franca. They are teachers, mentors, first aiders, coaches, computer whizzes, counsellors, peace negotiators, toilet trainers, advocates and friends. Their job is huge, it is ever changing, it is dynamic and most of the time, thankless. I would like to thank the team we have here at Clifton Hills for all the work they have provided for your children this year. Farewell: We have staff leaving us this year, Ms Boswell Hyde, Miss Della Franca Jnr, Mrs Dunsire and Mrs Thompson. They have contributed to our school in their time with us and I hope they are richer for the experience of being a part of the Clifton Hills school community. I am sure you join me in wishing them every success in their future endeavours!

There are families who have been a part of the Clifton Hills family for a long time who are leaving us. They will be heading to the High School education system or other primary schools. I hope you all look back on your experiences with us and remember your time at our school with fondness. To everyone who has supported the Clifton Hills Primary School community in such a positive way this year, I thank you! To all the families of Clifton Hills Primary school, I wish you an amazing Christmas and a safe and exciting New Year. Thank you!
