The 2019 UTS Law on Street (LoS) Competition invites teams of law students from China partner institutions to disseminate their legal knowledge in order to provide assistance to disadvantaged communities and people in need. This competition has been developed to encourage, reward and recognise talented law students who possess the knowledge and skills to impact and shape our future. The 2019 UTS Law on Street Competition is being run by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) Faculty of Law in partnership with Dentons Shanghai. > Only selected partner institutions are eligible to enter > Each team must consist of three law students and one coach, usually a staff member from the institution > A maximum of two teams per institution may enter > All competition entries must be in English COMPETITION FORMAT 2019 UTS LAW ON STREET COMPETITION – CHINA UTS CRICOS Provider Code: 00099F law.uts.edu.au FINALISTS All finalists and the People's Choice Award Winner will be invited to Dentons Shanghai for the final presentation day and announcement of winners. PRIZESJudges’ Choice Awards will be decided by our judging panel at the competition final event in Shanghai

The Judges’ Choice prizes are:

> 1st Prize: The winning team (3 students) willreceive one Trophy, individual award certificates,plus a prize of AUD$1,000 per student totalingAUD$3,000.

> Runner Up: will also receive one Trophy andindividual award certificates, plus a prize ofAUD$200 per student totaling AUD$600.

A prize will also be offered for the People’s Choice Award winner. Which will Include a trophy and individual award certificates, plus a prize of AUD$200 per student totaling AUD$600.
