Hello Everyone,

My name is Rich Smith, Founder and Chairman of SKYiGOLF. Our entire SKYiGOLF team is excited to welcome you to our second SKYiGOLF Championship being played at Charlotte Harbor National Golf Club in North Port Feb. 27 - March 1.

As championships go, we will have a tough act to follow after such a memorable debut a year ago. Our tournament was a rousing success in every way, and highly popular with the Symetra Tour players who participated. Alana Uriell, making her first start as a professional, prevailed in a thrilling three-way playoff for the title.

The Symetra Tour is billed as “The Road to the LPGA.” The top 10 players each season graduate to the LPGA, and fields are filled with talented players who will be our stars of tomorrow. At Charlotte Harbor National, SKYiGOLF will work diligently to put forth a grand sporting event that will make this community proud. We will stage a championship of the highest quality on both sides of the ropes, both for our competitors and for businesses that choose to be our partners in this great venture.

The SKYiGOLF Championship is a terrific opportunity to showcase your company and entertain employees and clients. Our goal each year is to make this championship bigger and better, and with continued support from our community, we can achieve that together. Our tournament purse of $250,000 last year matched the highest ever offered by a Symetra Tour event, and is consistent with our goal to give this tournament, and this field, the feel of a “major” championship. This event fosters a terrific opportunity to showcase great golf as well as the beautiful area in which we live.
