Project Management Achievement Awards (PMAAs)

exist to recognise and promote outstanding achievements

in program and project leadership.

Each year, AIPM recognises and celebrates the role of

project management in Australian society and industry

through its Project Management Achievement Awards.

In its 20th year, the PMAAs will celebrate project

management excellence across 13 categories for both

organisations and individuals. Awards are presented at

chapter level, with winners progressing through to the

national Awards. Historically, over 1,100 attendees come

together around the country to showcase and celebrate

project management success in Australia.

For the first time in AIPM history, this year the chapter

and the national PMAA events will be delivered virtually,

providing a unique opportunity to reach a far wider audience

and be more accessible for all. Wherever they are located,

attendees can witness all 8 chapter award presentations,

culminating in the national awards and play a part in

celebrating the best in project leadership across ten project

categories and three individual categories nationwide.

WHO IS AIPM?

The Australian Institute of Project Management

(AIPM) is the premier, longest-serving body for project

management in Australia.

We are recognised by Australian business, industry and

government as the key promoter, developer, and leader in

project management professionalism.

Our vision is to be regarded as a world authority on

project management practices and competency, and to

provide top quality and relevant services to our members

and partners.

Our influence

Project management is rapidly growing in Australia and is

radically transforming the way we do business and deliver

strategic initiatives across all industries. It is no longer

just a job title but fast becoming an essential skill in all

professions. This boom in projects correlates with senior

management committing their best decision makers to

project leadership and the Australian Institute of Project

Management drives the professional development of these

project leaders within its member base.

Today, AIPM represents over 8,000 project management

professionals across Australia, ranging from individual

members to large organisational partners in key areas

of Infrastructure, Property & Construction, IT, Health,

Financial and other Professional Services.

We advocate on behalf of our members to ensure that the

association is understood and leveraged across

Opportunity for video ad within the national award session

Sponsors can have their video advertisement embedded

into the livestream. This can be played between

presentations or talks, before and after the day has started

and even in the middle of a talk. This video ad can be as

long or short as you like and will normally range from

15-30 seconds, with some extending out to 2-3 minutes.

This video ad can also be embedded into the Video on

Demand when it is saved in the Platform for viewing later.

Opportunity for Brand Placement throughout platform (depending on level of sponsorship)

Getting the Sponsors brand in front of the Delegates

is a key aspect of the event Platform. Logos can be put on

the following pages throughout the Platform:

1. On the front page of the event Platform. The major

partners can be in the first section of the platform

as an event ‘presented by’ them. All sponsors logos

will also be on the front page of the event Platform

together,

2. A dedicated place on the ‘sponsors’ page, which can

either be sorted into categories or all sponsors can be

in the same section.

Branded Sponsor Profile

Every sponsor of the event will get a branded sponsor profile.

This profile will be appear every time a delegate clicks on

their logo when it is in the Platform. Their profiles includes:

1. Hosted video content

2. Team directory to link delegates from the sponsor

company to the profile

3. Uploaded downloadable resources (videos, marketing

brochures, product spec sheets etc).

4. Links to all sponsor external channels (website, social

media, Linkedin)

5. Direct link to chat as per the chat functionality.

In addition to this, their profile can include a lead capture

form - this is where we embed a form into their profile and

they can customise the text for the form.

Direct Chat with delegates

Through the chat function in the platform, sponsors can

engage in text chat directly with the delegates. Embedded

at the top of all sponsor profiles is the chat icon. This icon

allows a delegate to chat directly to the sponsor about their

products, sales or general enquiries.

As well as text chat, the delegate can request a video chat

with the sponsor that they can do off the Platform. This

allows for the sponsor and delegate to meet with each

other and to connect on a personal level.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS BOOKING AND PAYMENT

All prices are quoted in Australian dollars and exclude GST

(Goods and Services Tax). GST is required to be applied to

all packages at the rate prevailing at the date of invoicing

or payment, whichever is earlier (currently 10%). If you

are registered Australian GST with the Australian Inland

Revenue Department, the GST paid may be reclaimed on

your GST returns. Sponsorship packages will be allocated

only on receipt of the signed hard copy application form.

Confirmation will be sent together with a tax invoice for the

full amount. The invoice is payable within 10 days of date

of tax invoice. If the payment is not received within this

timeframe then you relinquish your right to the requested

sponsorship package. All monies due will be invoiced in full

by 10 November 2020, to be paid by 20 November 2020.

All payments should be made in Australian dollars by

bank transfer or credit card (Mastercard, Visa or American

Express). Payments made by credit card will attract a 2.8%

fee to cover commissions.

Entitlements will not be implemented for the virtual event

until full payment has been received. Sponsors consent to

their contact details being shared with event suppliers and

contractors.

Cancellation Policy

If notification of cancellation of sponsorship is received

in writing:

• Prior to 10 November 2020, you will be refunded

50% of the fee

• From 10 November 2020, you are liable for 100%

of the package selected.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to cancel

the event not later than 20 November 2020 in case of

circumstances beyond its control. In such a case all monies

paid to date will be refunded in full less any expenses

incurred. The liability of the organisers will be limited to

that amount.
