• Prepared for School, CCA & Remedials

• CCAs are important. Contributes to the

portfolio and is useful for interviews,

testimonial and EAE applications.

Absences (due to Medical reasons) should be

supported by Medical Certificate.

A maximum of 2 counts of Absences (due to

valid Private reasons) will be accepted per term

at the discretion of the school.

Poor attendance will affect the

approval to sit for

school and national examinations

• Poor attendance for school and CCA may result in a FAIR

conduct grade.

• Students who receive a FAIR or POOR conduct grade will

not be eligible for:

- MOE Edusave Awards e.g. scholarship, bursary & good progress

- Edusave Character Award (ECHA)

- External Scholarships/ Bursaries

Objectives:

- To identify strengths and capitalise on them

- To work out plans on addressing areas for improvement

- To develop and use study skills (eg, active listening, note-

taking, memorization) that will help students become

successful learners.

representation to display the data,

compute statistical parameters and devise

appropriate conclusions to support a more

balanced lifestyle.

Start: Term 1, Week 8

End: Term 2, Weeks 8

compute statistical parameters and

devise appropriate conclusions to

support a more healthy lifestyle.

Note: Students will be expected to use, compute

and perform more advanced forms of statistical

representation, parameters and analysis

respectively.

Why Must Employer Hire Your Child?

• The value that you bring (tangible and non-tangible) is

greater than the cost of hiring you.

• You bring in critical input to the firm (ideas, proposals,

work commitment, exemplary conduct).

• You enhance the brand name of the firm.

Is there a job for life?

Your child will have six to seven jobs on average in your life time.

In the first two years, it is normal to have three to four jobs.

More jobs are going to be contractual in nature.

Labour laws are no longer on the side of the employee.

Expects very little severance pay.

Working environment will be very different. Working from home,

more work-life balance, working with people from different

nationalities.

Is there a job for life?

Some of the jobs that your child will be applying for have not

been created yet.

Your child will be more mobile than you as parents. Getting a job

overseas or station overseas is more probable.

Moving from one job to another probably will bring value.

There will be more internship, possibly at different companies.
