2021 Sentry Tournament of Champions Broadcast Window & Pre-Tournament Notes
Past Champions Notes
7 Since the start of the 2013-14 season, all seven of the winners at the Sentry Tournament of
Champions have been inside the top-five of the leaderboard entering the final round.
34.6% Since 2014, the winners of the Sentry TOC have gained 34.6% of their total strokes gained for
the week in their approach play. In this time frame, winners gain +1.10 strokes per round on approach shots at the Plantation Course at Kapalua.
14 14 of the last 16 winners of the Sentry Tournament of Champions have ranked seventh or better
in Strokes Gained: Approach-the-Green en route to victory.
4 Each of the last four Sentry TOC winners have ranked inside the top-10 in Greens in Regulation
percentage.
37’ 4” Justin Thomas averaged 37’ 4” in Proximity to the Hole en route to victory in 2020, ranking
second in the field for the week. Thomas is the only winner of the Sentry TOC to rank inside the top two for Proximity to the Hole in the ShotLink era (four-round event).

13 The winner of the Sentry Tournament of Champions has qualified for the TOUR Championship in
13 of 14 seasons in the FedExCup era.
5 The last five winners of the Sentry TOC have finished inside the top-10 of the FedExCup at the
conclusion of the TOUR Championship.
9 Nine of the Sentry TOC winners have been inside the FedExCup Top 10 after the conclusion of
the regular season.
4 The Sentry TOC is one of four regular season events with the most winners qualifying for the
