AIM BUT

The aim of this NATO standardizationagreement (STANAG) is to respond to thefollowing interoperability requirements.

To provide a standard method of givingemergency alarms within the NATO forcesoperating on land, of:

a. Chemical, biological, radiological ornuclear (CBRN) hazards and strikes;

b. Air attack.

IMPLEMENTATION OF THEAGREEMENT

This STANAG is implemented when thenecessary orders/instructions have beenissued directing forces concerned to putthe content of this agreement into effect.

Nations are invited to report on theireffective implementation of the STANAGusing the form in Annex H to AAP-03(J).

Partner nations are invited to report on theadoption of the STANAG using the form inAnnex G to AAP-03(J).

REVIEW REXAMEN

This STANAG is to be reviewed at leastonce every three years. The result of thereview is recorded within the NSDD.

Le prsent STANAG doit tre rexamin aumoins une fois tous les trois ans. Le rsultatde ce rexamen est consign dans laNSDD.

Nations and NATO bodies may proposechanges, at any time, through astandardization proposal to the taskingauthority (TA), where the changes will beprocessed during the review of theSTANAG.
