▪ During Epi Week 04, (482/495) 97% of the health facilities across 6 Governorates provided surveillance data for all EWARN Syndromes this week and 97% of reporting sites submitted the weekly reports on time. ▪ The consultations reported in this week were 209.728 (including 38% children under the age of five) compared to 207.679 consultations in the previous week. ▪ 8 AFP (Acute Flaccid Paralysis) cases were reported during Epi week 04. ▪ EWARN labs reported: 2 positive cases for HAV IgM (Idleb), and 1 positive case for Salmonella IgM (Idleb). ▪ The number of SARI cases was 798 during this week. An increment in the numbers of ILI and SARI cases was noticed since the end of November 2018. Investigation and line listing the reported cases with collecting specimens are ongoing when feasible. ▪ The highest syndromes reported were respectively: ILI (28.295) , OAD (11.033) , and SARI (798). ▪ Al-Hasakeh governorate recorded the highest proportional morbidity for OAD (18.3%)، ILI (33.0%), AJS (1.2%), and SARI (1.4%). ▪ Deir-ez-zor governorate recorded the highest proportional morbidity for Leish (1.9%).

▪ خلال الأسبوع الوبائي 04 أرسل 97 % من المراكز المبلّغة (482 من 495) تقاريرهم الأسبوعية من المحافظات الستة، وقد وصل 97% منها في الوقت المحدد. ▪ بلغ إجمالي الاستشارات المبلغة في هذا الاسبوع الوبائي 209.728 (منها 38 % أطفال بعمر أقل من 5 سنوات) مقارنة بـ 207.679 استشارة في الاسبوع السابق. ▪ تم الابلاغ عن 8 حالات شلل رخو حاد خلال الأسبوع الوبائي 04 من 2019. ▪ سجلت مختبرات برنامج الانذار المبكر: حالتين إيجابيتي IgM التهاب الكبد A (ادلب)، وحالة واحدة إيجابية IgM السالمونيلا (ادلب). ▪ كان هناك 798 حالة من متلازمة المرض التنفسي الحاد الشديد SARI خلال هذا الاسبوع. لوحظ تزايد في عدد الحالات منذ نهائية شهر تشرين الثاني، يتم تقصي الحالات المبلّغة وجمعها في قائمة خطية بشكل مستمر مع قطف العينات من الحالات عندما يكون ذلك ممكناً. ▪ أعلى الامراض المسجلة كانت على الترتيب: اشتباه الانفلونزا (28.295)، الاسهال الحاد لأسباب أخرى (11.033)، المرض التنفسي الحاد الشديد (798). ▪ سجلت محافظة الحسكة المعدل الأعلى للمراضة النسبية لكل ٍمن: حالات الاسهال الحاد لأسباب أخرى (18.3%(، اشتباه الانفلونزا ( 33.0%)، المتلازمة اليرقانية الحادة (1.2%)، والمرض التنفسي الحاد الشديد (1.4%). ▪ سجلت محافظة دير الزور المعدل الأعلى للمراضة النسبية لليشمانيا الجلدية (1.9%).
Performance Indicators Proportional Morbidity of Surveyed SyndromesUnder 5 years
▪ The number of the reported STF cases during Epi week 04 was 564, with the highest proportional morbidity in Deir ez Zor governorate (1.8%). ▪ The number of the reported AJS cases during the same time period was 582, with the highest proportional morbidity in Al Hasakeh governorate (1.2%). ▪ EWARN reported 11.033 OAD new cases. ▪ Water borne diseases risk scale is being generated and followed on community level and on monthly basis in all EWARN coverage areas. ▪ EWARN informed partners & WASH team about the districts with high WBD levels.

▪ بلغ عدد حالات اشتباه الحمى التيفية STF 564 خلال الأسبوع الوبائي 04، مع أعلى إمراضية نسبية في محافظة دير الزور (1.8%). ▪ بلغ عدد حالات المتلازمة اليرقانية الحادة AJS 582 خلال الأسبوع الوبائي 04، مع أعلى إمراضية نسبية في محافظة الحسكة (1.2%). ▪ تم تسجيل 11.033 إسهال حاد لأسباب أخرى هذا الأسبوع. ▪ يتم متابعة مشعر خطورة الأمراض المنقولة بالمياه بشكل شهري وعلى مستوى التجمع السكاني في جميع مناطق تغطية الشبكة. ▪ تم إعلام الشركاء وفريق المياه والاصحاح عن المناطق ذات المستوى العالي من الامراض المنتقلة بالمياه.
•In Epi-week 04 /2019, the total number of new suspected cases of measles was 19 new cases. •3 suspected measles cases have been investigated in Idleb during Epi Week 04. •EWARN labs reported 0 positive case for Measles IgM out of 3 specimens. •In the Epi week 04/2019, 9 new suspected measles cases were reported from Deir ez zor district. •In Aleppo, 0 reported case of suspected measles, whereas in Idleb governorate, the total number of new suspected measles cases was 9 (Harim 1 – Al Ma’re 2 – Idleb 5 – Jisr Ash-Sugur 1). •The coordination with SIG is ongoing to vaccinate the children in EPI centers in camps and districts in Idleb, Aleppo, and Hama rural. •The number of the reported suspected Pertussis cases was 71, the highest number reported from Qamishli district (19 cases). •The number of the reported suspected Mumps cases was 79, the highest number reported from Deir ez zor district (16 cases).
