21st Century Learners
21st Century Learners are required to possess a set of knowledge related skills
that learners even five years ago did not have to possess. Some of these essential skills
are: heightened inquiry and collaboration skills, fearlessness, and the ability to learn
through multiple iterations. Students are encouraged to ask questions and learn in
various ways that learners of even a few years ago did not learn. Collaboration occurs
at almost every level in preparation for students to become successful adults. Students
are empowered to be fearless in a way that students of yesterday were not. 21st century
learners are encouraged to learn about the same topic in a variety of dynamic and
different ways. If a student is unable to grasp a difficult concept in one manner, chances
are, they will be able to learn it in another way fostered by dynamic teaching in concert
with a wonderful Media Specialist.
